History:
The Nightcast is a bi-weekly Sonic news recap. Having it's roots start in summer of 2012 called "7 News at 10:00", it informed Sonic fans on what's happening. The Nightcast was there during the Sonic Fan Film, rumours of Nintendo buying Sega, and major events of community interest. It was one of the few Sonic newscasts that has a full graphics package to visually convey the meaning of the stories presented on screen - more like a professional newscast seen on television. It was canceled in the winter of 2012, only to have 2 failed comebacks in Spring 2013 and Summer 2013 due to tight deadlines with voiceover recording. This year, The Nightcast is returning as SonicSource, with a offbeat style to capture the attention of the community."
