Tom and Zorabel from Sonic the Comic #77. Art by Nigel Dobbyn.

Tom is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is the manservant of Zorabel the Pirate Queen of Scourge Bay.

Tom is a tall, muscular human with chalk-white skin and a vacant expression. He appears constantly gloomy. He wears a black suit and a black top hat with a red bow tie.

Tom performs several jobs for Zorabel, including pushing her wicker wheelchair,[1] fetching things for her,[2] and answering the door of her mansion.[3]

Powers and abilities

Tom seems to be incredibly strong, given he was able to lift a heavy chest full of ancient documents, while Knuckles could only drag it.[2]

  • Tom seems somewhat similar to depictions of zonbi (zombies) in the folklore of Haitian Vodou (voodoo).[4][5]
