This article is about a subject in the real world.
Information in this article is about real-life people, companies, and objects, which do not relate to the in-universe Sonic series.

Tomoko Sasaki is a Japanese musician and voice actress who voiced the Chao in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Her clips have been recycled in Sonic Shuffle, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 3 and Sega Superstars.

During Sonic X's production period (2003-2005), the role was recast to Ryo Hirohashi, who also played the species in the main series games released during that time (Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog).

Sega has since returned to using Sasaki's clips, as evidenced by the Nintendo DS versions of both Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and Sonic Colors, the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and Sonic Runners.
