Town Mission 14: Save the Archaeologist!

Town Mission 14: Save the Archaeologist! is the fourteenth Town Mission in Shadow's story in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).

Overview

It takes place in Castle Town, Soleanna. An archaeologist called Adrianna was researching Soleanna's ruins for clues about the Scepter of Darkness, a valuable object intended to imprison Mephiles the Dark, when Iblis creatures suddenly attacked her, offended by her actions. Shadow must destroy all of these monsters and save her from death.

This Town Mission must be completed in order to continue with the story and access Wave Ocean.

Guide

This Town Mission is very short and easy. There are few enemies to kill, they all spawn within a few steps from the fountain, and there is no time limit. To complete the mission, simply take out the four Iblis Worms around the fountain, followed by the groups of Iblis Biters on either side. As long as the player is fast enough, there is no need to check on the archaeologist's health. The Town Mission is cleared when every enemy has been defeated and Adrianna is safe, allowing the player to visit Wave Ocean.

Trivia

• This is the only Town Mission in the game which features Iblis creatures, but not Mephiles creatures.
