The Translator-Scan is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a translation device created by Tekno the Canary.
Description[]
The Translator-Scan is a silver, rectangular device. When pointed at someone, the Translator-Scan can make its target speak in the common language of Mobius. This effect is seemingly permanent. The device has a number of modes to cope with different languages, with "monster" being one of them.[1]
History[]
The Lump[]
When Tekno the Canary and Amy Rose faced a monster named Lump, Amy noticed it was trying to communicate with them. Tekno therefore used her Translator-Scan on Lump so they could understand what he said and hear his story.[1]
