Travis Hampton Willingham (born 3 August 1981 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actor and voice actor who is the current voice of Knuckles the Echidna and Storm the Albatross beginning with Sonic Free Riders onwards. He also voices Zavok, the leader of the Deadly Six.[1]

As well as playing Knuckles in Sonic Boom, he also voices additional characters such as Soar the Eagle and Obliterator Bot.

Voice acting career

He is an actor in anime and video games, known primarily for his work in Funimation Entertainment, and is best known as the voice of Colonel Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist, Ginko in Mushi-Shi, Guile in Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV, Portgas D. Ace from One Piece, Relius Clover in Blazblue, Jonathan "Johnny" Ariga in Catherine, Hulk and Human Torch in Marvel Super Hero Squad Show, and Takeshi "Mori" Morinozuka in Ouran High School Host Club, Cell in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 1 and 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi, as well as Simon Blackquill from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. He is recently voicing King Roland II in Disney's Sofia the First. He has also been credited under Kent Hampton, Travis Williams, Dr. Willingham, and Johnny Hildo.


His performance received positive reviews, saying he was a perfect replacement for the previous Knuckles voice actor, Dan Green. Many fans claim he sounds very much alike Dan Green, and have praised his work.
