The Synthetic Sonic Simulation[1] (or Triple-S for short[1]) is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a Sonic the Hedgehog decoy used by B.A.R.F.

Description

The Triple-S is a simple orange balloon with the face of Sonic the Hedgehog inscribed on it.

History

In order to weed out the Niceniks from the Badniks, B.A.R.F. utilized the Triple-S. As their tactic, Bert would blow up the Triple-S and the real Badniks would attack it, making it easier for the duo to find which robots had become infected with the Nicenik virus.[1] After over two hundred attempts (with Bert getting caught in the crossfire each time), the Triple-S would bring out the real Niceniks, who thought the Triple-S was the real Sonic.[1][2]

Trivia

  • During its appearances, the Triple-S changed design from time to time, with Sonic changing his expression depending on the occasion.
