A deceptively simple looking course running through the metallic madness of Dr. Eggman's diabolical Final Fortress, a huge aircraft containing automated manufacturing plants and protected by rotating gun turrets. Beware of patrolling robots and laser gates–Dr. Eggman must be expecting visitors.

— Track description

Turbine Loop is a racetrack in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing that represents the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is one of three tracks in the game that are based on Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes and the third track of the Graffiti Cup.

Overview[]

Turbine Loop is a high-speed course with many relatively straight stretches that make it the perfect place to trade paint with those drivers who are gifted with high top speeds. Early in the stage, there are plenty of opportunities to drift and pass opponents with items. Ahead of a large, whirling turbine, the player discovers long, wide turns, perfect for drifting. These are followed by a series of small inclines. The player can boost along the top of these inclines and perform tricks off of them, but the danger remains of launching from an incline and send oneself flying over the edge of the track. As the player rounds the outer edge of the turbine, he/she must proceed with caution. Huge winches drag robots across the track, and should the player bump into one without a boost in effect, the car will be sent spinning as opponents race past.

Other game appearances[]
