I have returned, but let's avoid any more drama
Well, the reason I have returned is because I feel safer here than several years ago when I left, due to some drama with someone in the END cult. Now there are admins who will prevent drama from escalating and have rules against both instigating it and attacking other users.
So, I'll make a few things clear, to newcomers and to the END cult.

Which path in Shadow the Hedgehog do you take?
Let me clear a few things first:
1.) This is only for those who play and enjoy Shadow the Hedgehog. If you're one of the many who hate it, get out of here, and no flaming or insults please.
2.) Of course I imagine anyone who's got the game has been through almost every level to beat the light and dark bosses of all five final stages in order to get to Last Story, but this is about which path do you prefer to take, either after unlocking it or without even bothering to.

Why do people think these main villains survived?
Of the main villains of the games, the ones to ultimately be killed off are: Grand Battle Kukku 15th, Black Doom, SCR-HD/Master Core: ABIS, Captain Whisker, Mephiles, Iblis, Ifrit, Eggman Nega (unless he somehow gets out of the Ifrit's dimension), Dark Gaia, Metal Sonic, Time Eater, and the Deadly Six. But with all of the following, people think they survived:
Black Doom - Status bar is listed as "Unknown" instead of "Presumed deceased", even though it also says "He hasn't appeared since and is most likely dead". This is the mildest instance of this. The basis on which people think he survived is probably a.) His claim to be immortal (but at the same time he's shocked at his defeat, probably shock at how he can die while immortal), b.) Meta…
Are postcredits scenes canon?
Now I'm sure most of you will just say "Yes" and I believed it for the longest while. However, here's a few things to take note of:
1.) Although this isn't the same series, there's a popular show out there, I won't name it incase people here are skeptical of its popularity (but I will say up front atleast two characters are killed in that show), but at the end of Season 3, the main character gains a pair of wings, and flies effortlessly in the final scene. But the movie set after, an interview with her, and, supposedly, Season 4 depict her as unable to fly, usually just falling on her face. To this, one person said "Just an ending, I take as non-canon." I thought that preposterous at first, but then I considered this:

Deadly Six - Dead or Not?
(Warning: Contains spoilers)
So, when we last see the Deadly Six, Sonic defeats them in battle. Zazz, Zomom, Master Zik, and Zeena explode in a puff of smoke while Zor and Zavok are sent falling into lava. This would suggest that they are dead, and has me convinced of it, but a few things might convince others that they survived.
First, when Sonic defeats Zazz, he says "The boss is gonna beat me!" and explodes a second later. His line suggests he'll still be around to be beaten, but maybe he didn't know he was mortally wounded at the time. Compare Crystal King from Paper Mario, although he is equally debatable.
