The Face of...

Because I'm bored, I am posting this blog. I am just going to randomly name some people that are either King, Queen, or the Face of the type of genre or whatever. So here I go.

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop

I think we should all know this one. He not only was the King of Pop, but the only person that really could do Pop in the first place. He was a musical genius, and was pretty close to doing music for Sonic 3, as many of us might know already.

Elvis Presley, the King of Rock 'n Roll

Although he may be considered the King of Rock 'n Roll, many just call him "The King." Although I actually don't like his music all that much, we all know that he, along with Michael Jackson and the Beatles, is one of the best-selling artists of all time.

The Beatles, who are just awesome.

I don't know if they have a special name, but boy they are worthy of one. They are the best-selling band and artist of all time, and they might have been considered Rock, but they were actually the roots for Pop as well.

Mickey Mouse, the Face of Cartoons.

Mickey Mouse is the greatest cartoon character of all time, and one of the first successful ones. This mouse has lasted of 83 years. Why? Because we all still love him.

Walt Disney, the Ultimate.

I made that name up, but boy, he sure is "The Ultimate." I don't think we could get better than that. Walt Disney has created the greatest cartoon character (^Up above) of all time, as well as releasing many extremely successful movie classics, and, even after he died, the Walt Disney company lives on, and won't be going bye bye anytime soon, considering the fact they have over 35 billion dollars. That is a lot of money.

Mario, the Face of Video Games.

The worlds' biggest video game franchise, this Italian Plumber is known as the "Face of Video Games," having 6 games on the list of top 10 best-selling video games of all time. He ended America's "video game crash" after his extremely successful Super Mario Bros. released in 1985. He's been at it for 30 years, and there's no sign of him stopping any time soon.

Sonic the Hedgehog, the King of Speed Games.

There can be a billion other speed games, like racing games or another speed platformer, but no other company has ever been able to define speed like SEGA's Sonic Team has been able to. Sonic the Hedgehog, rival of Mario, is one of the most recognizable characters in the world, alongside characters like Mario and Mickey Mouse. This blue hedgehog changed the idea of speed and is 10th best-selling franchise of all time. Like they say, he's "Still unstoppable after 20 years."

Shigeru Miyamoto, the Father of Video Games.

Shigeru was the creator for several successful games, including Donkey Kong (the arcade 1981 version and it's sequels), Mario, and The Legend of Zelda. And originally, he didn't know anything about video games! Shigeru has made probably more successful games than anybody else.

Koji Kondo, the King of Video Game Music.

Koji Kondo was the one who wrote the brilliant Super Mario Bros. theme (some call it the Overground Theme), as well as writing the famous music for The Legend of Zelda games, and has written most of the really famous video game tunes we get stuck in our heads today. This guy is still at it today.

I might add more... I donno.
