For some reason that I can't understand Sonic 2's special stages have been getting lots of complaints recently. Half-pipe based Special Stages are the best & easiest. They couldn't get easier than Sonic Rush & Sonic 2 offers you more than enough chances to go Hyper if that was in the game. I have legitimately played as Super Sonic on Chemical Plant several times. There's even an ingame code to start with all 7, not to mention that you keep the emeralds you collect if you start a new game without actually leaving the game. Heroes also used halfpipe style design, yet rather than collect rings you boost your way to the Chaos Emerald using colored orbs, which was quite enjoyable to play.

Alright Sonic 1 Genesis: The Original Game itself was just…

    Ranking Sega Series

    September 8, 2017 by WaterKirby1994

We all know Sonic Series isn't quite as successful as it once was, although Sega has other good series. I thought of ranking them in terms of how enjoyable I find them overall. Keep in mind these are my opinions.

1)Phantasy Star Online: What's not to love, it's a futuristic anime world & an epic fun game to play.

2)PuyoPuyo: Like Tetris, only better, was clearly created by Sega to compete with that classic game. Meanbean Machine was Puyopuyo with Sonic Skin, & over the years the simple game formula would be reused repeatedly. Amazing how many games for Puyopuyo there have been over the years.

3)Sonic the Hedgehog:We all know it, otherwise we wouldn't be here now. 4)Super Monkey Ball: Fun Puzzle series from the Dreamcast Era that originated on…

    Sonic Storybook 3

    September 1, 2017 by WaterKirby1994

I Blame Generations for why we never got it, we should have gotten Storybook 4 by now. Storybook 3 was supposed to be themed on Greek/Roman Mythology, which probably didn't get enough votes in the obscure poll for Sega to deem it worth their time to create. Supposedly Shadow the Hedgehog was decided through an even more obscure poll (so much so that even fans of Sonic were unlikely to have heard about it when it actually was happening), there were unused game ideas that could have been yet weren't.

You have to wonder what Storybook 3 would have been titled? My guess would be Sonic & the Argonauts, which probably would have had Sonic play the role of Jason, Tails as Perceus, Knuckles as Hercules, & Shadow as Achiles. Another possibility woul…

It's the time for Virgo, so what better time to talk about Female Characters? Sonic Series has plenty of good female characters here are some of my favorites. Honorable mentions include Elise, Helen from Sonic X, Lian-Da, Shade the Echidna, & Sonia from Underground. #10 Topaz from Sonic X, she was an enjoyable character thanks to how she was partnered with Rouge.

    9) Cosmo the Seedrian: The flower girl who was loved by Tails in the Metarex Saga, & sacrificed herself to stop Dark Oak in an action that dispersed the seeds for her race. Tails would end up raising 1 of these seeds.

    8) Maria Robotnik: The tragic origin for Shadow the Hedgehog, in that he was created to save her from NIDS, yet was unable to prevent her from being killed by GUN Sold…

I want to see the Chao Gardens return in a future Sonic Game, possibly with new forms. Chao Race & Chao Karate were fun in Adventure 2 Battle, it would be fun to have them again. Chao Walkers were also fun to play as in that game. Sega could add wisps to the chao gardens, just as long as we get them to return. A method of Egg Reverting Chaos Chao would probably be an interesting addition, we probably deserve 10 Gardens by now for how long we have waited. If Forces actually had you raise chao as your custom hero character that would be fun. Do you have any fond memories related to Chao you want to share?

Update:Chao lovers there is a fangame out called Chao Resort Island that seems to greatly enhance Tiny Chao Garden to make it far more simi…
