Once again I find myself having issues with my Internet at home. I seem to have underestimated how severe the problem could get and originally thought it would've been temporary, but it seems like that may not be the case. As such, I have no estimated date at this time as to when I'll have this issue resolved. Naturally, this also means that until said issue is taken care of my time here on the Wiki will be more limited than usual, since I can only use public PCs for so long, and their efficiency only goes so far as well. Oooh, that is a tough one, I love both of them, they both have deep characters and an interesting story. I hear you, I cheated on FF IX on my first playthrough, I cheated because I was stuck on certain part, I used a gameshark, or some similar game altering device to god mod my characters, but after that, the game got really boring as there was no challenge, I then got stuck on what, during my second playthrough, was quite an easy segment. And then, right before he can open the door to his classroom, the screen fades to black, the bell rings, and no one knows if he made it on time or not. Also, there will be no dialogue. I will admit, that was pretty foolish of me to keep "re-editing" the Sonic 4 article so I could gain access into the chat room. I say, yes, one can assume a character by the design. She was drawn pretty detailed in the comics (her body, those lines on her cheecks, her hair) Her hair was pretty shiny, long, flowy and curly obviously to beautify her. I think that previous design of her was pretty obvious, they somehow wanted to her to look more beautiful, I mean it's not a bad thing. But look at how Amy was treated comparatively.

I might relate to how you feel when poeple call characters a sue and go kinda of over-board about it. It's pretty annoying. If I liked Sally and people would call her a sue, I'd be ticked off!

Sally isn't literally a sue, well not much anymore. I guess she is kind of cliche and gets more spotlight than Tails and Knuckles, two of my most favorite characters.

The mistake done in the comics is that the writers wanted a Sonic comic to be of a Marvel/DC style where Sonic is a super-hero when, in-reality, Sonic is just a funny, kids character like Mario and Mickey Mouse. Giving Sonic dark themes, death, break-ups, relationships doesn't fit the way I view Sonic. Sure, Sonic Adventure 2 was a bit dark, but it was appropriate enough to fit the hedgehog. Penders stuffed in drama and his own fetishes in the comics thinking it might suit Sonic (and giving him an official love-interest). Penders made his comics look like a furry-fanfiction imo, Ian Flyyn is doing a better job however.

Ahh, I suppose fans assumed she was supposed to be Shadow. That's just an assumption and has been unconfirmed. It's a possiblity however since she looked very similar to Shaodw in terms of color. There was also that "red and blue" thing going on in the picture similar to SA2 (however that would also have been for Rush, where there is blue and purple everywhere).

I think Blaze is a neat character (not better than Amy) when I was little (like 9 years old) the first ever videogame I owned was Sonic Rush (it also got me into gaming) so this game is very important to me. I really used to like Blaze, but not so much anymore because I guess... the fans have a different view of Blaze than I do. And since that concept of Blaze is so popular and is getting even more popular... I just didn't like it. Yeah her 2 different backgrounds change her character completely. So concept is the word I'd use, however English isn't the only language I use so I might have used the word wrong. What I mean is that the one in which she is from the future and is Silver's friend seems to be alot more popular... Fans only veiw and see Blaze as "Silver's friend". When I see Blaze fan-work, there's Silver. When someone says "Blaze" they add Silver. When someone supports SonAmy, they support Silvaze. All because of one game. Is it because they are newer characters? They ignore that she saved the world in two entire games with Sonic and actually had some good chemistry with him once again in SATBK, they ignore that she actually had some good character development and a personality rather than "the tough girl who takes care of her naive friend". I thought Blaze's best friend was Cream.

Well, Sonic isn't the only thing I'm into, so it doesn't bug me much. I'm a fan in a way that I just play the games just like how I play any other game. So I don't get hurt and I don't ever feel like "getting bored of Sonic" because... I mean... I just buy a Sonic game. If I don't like it, then I'll play another game. But I won't "get bored of Sonic" because that doesn't happen to me... I guess... I haven't "commited" myself to stick to Sonic. I understand why people support SilvAze and I agree that it can work. But my tastes are for SonAze, I find the couple more interesting (where Blaze likes Sonic) as for SilvAze, I think I like it one-sided where Silver likes Blaze (it's cute, come on, it suits Silver). I don't like SilvAze because majority make it look like Silver is the only friend of Blaze when Blaze is also friends with Cream and Sonic. Which is why I don't even like the idea of Silver and Blaze being friends anymore.

Nimue is a strong point. Yes, the book series character's aren't actually them, but just because Nimue was out of character for Amy doesn't mean the rest were. Yes, Percival did seem to like Sonic but Percival's personality is very similar to Blaze's like how Gawain and Lancelot were exactly like their counterparts. And Percival showed a side of Blaze which was written in her biographies since Sonic Rush, but wasn't clearly displayed in games - her "shyness". And the Percival boss fight is similar to the Sonic Rush Blaze boss fight, the difference is that Sonic saved Percival's life and Percival developed a liking towards him later on. But the same can be said to Blaze, to me, it's just a possibility because their personalities are exact.

I haven't played any of those Storybook games so I can't tell. A science-fiction based Sonic game would be neat though. Whatever I want in a future Sonic game is really detailed, haha, I don't mind the theme of a game, I list down the details I want in the gameplay (pretty tough and tricky, I know, but I think I know what I want for the gameplay to change. Though, obviously I won't expect people to agree!)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the those friend missions. They are perfectly fine and really fun. It's usually one of the easier missions in the game so they aren't frustrating. I think those critics complained for the sake of it. Did they give a real reason? What makes friend missions worse than other missions? Nothing. They just have friends in it. Sonic's friends had a bad rep in the past, so probably that's why they put it as a con. My criticism would be the awful final boss, the confusing hub world and the difficulty of the game. Well, that is immature. I suppose it's fine if they don't like Sonic, I mean, Sonic isn't the best neither is one of the best. Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors were amazing to me however, if Sonic goes on improving, he might be one of the best. I have seen even more immature (seriously, like waaaay more immature) by GameInformer. It was awful and they actually thought they were being funny!

Some people find it cool to not like Sonic, ("Get over it. It's a blue hedgehog that runs. His games suck now.") and bully Sonic gamers for being "furries" who play "games that have animals in them even if they suck".

Is there a reason to get bored of a videogame and never play its games anymore? Not really. I don't get how just buying a Sonic game means you're totally into the franchise - that you are a "devoted" fan so if you don't like two recent games, it means you're done with the franchise for good because it's "stupid" now. I'm not like that, atleast. This rumor by SonicStadium (10 characters thing) doesn't sound like a good game to me. Say, if this game exists and is out in stores now, I won't buy it. Does that mean I'm done with Sonic? No. I'm not a devoted fan. Sonic doesn't have to be perfect every year and I never said I'm supposed to love and buy every game. If I have a few Sonic games in my house, it doesn't make me a devoted Sonic gamer. I haven't devoted myself to play every game of a franchise. I play a game if I like it.

Totally agree with you here! It's hard to admit mistakes, but it's better than saying "I was just joking don't take it seriously" just to cover yourself up.

Ahh, but you will get over the franchise if the games continue to go against your liking. That's not with me, because I'm not interested in the franchise, I'm interested in the game itself. I am very much into Mario, Sonic, Portal, AC and Zelda though.

I haven't bought a Mario game in almost 3 years. I haven't bought a Sonic game for more than a year now. I have been waiting for Portal 3 since Portal 2 was out. The last two recent AC games aren't better than Brotherhood. I just recently got into Zelda and am only planning to get the big exclusive Wii U title (if I get a Wii U that is). But I'm still looking forward to the games and I never buy spin-offs. Can you believe that I never played a Mario spin-off before? I haven't played a Mario games since Galaxy 2 and yet Mario is my most favorite thing!

Actually, I think 10 characters and 8 systems is way too much. I usually don't enjoy games with so many characters. I like being this one hero and being attatched to him. One good example is AC3, where I was switched to another hero all of a sudden and it bugged me for days because I was so attatched to the character I was previously playing as. I can't play a Mario game where I have to be anyone more than Yoshi and his brother, I can't play a Zelda game if I'm not Link for even a minute. I noticed I like the games where I feel as this one character. I'm currently playing Skyward Sword and am almost done with the game (I think). This beautiful game is the best game ever. It seriously, like seriously absolutely the best game, I have no doubts now. Totally #1 on my list. It's so amazing I think I'm going to cry (what happened to my maturity?) It's just so perfect, Genesjs! Q___Q PERFECT. I just saw this cutscene and dang it was so touchy, gotta be the touchiest videogame moment ever. What sucks is that I can't share my gaming experience to anyone so you're like the first ever person to ask me about Zelda ofcourse I'm going to over-react.

No confirmation for Portal 3 unfortunately. Play Portal 2 especially. It's my third most favorite game of all time. It's perfect.

No I didn't. What do you mean by 3 different timelines? And what do you mean by an "early chronological" game for Skyward Sword? By timeline you mean how Skyward Sword is an entirely different reboot from Twilight Princess? I know that one. I've heard of Majora's Mask. I heard fans are dying for a sequel too. What makes it under-rated though? Every Zelda game gets some serious high reviews for even 25 years as if Nintendo are wizards. I don't even get how fans criticize Skyward Sword so much, I'd be surprised if previous Zelda games were actually better. I understand that Skyward Sword feels like a chore. It's probably the most difficult game I've ever played, and the longest, but despite all that, its still the best game I've ever played.

If it weren't for GLaDOS the game would be 40% boring. And you're gonna love Wheatley in Portal 2. He's adorable! I think Portal 2 is better than Portal 1. Portal 2 has more surprises in it, and left many plotholes. Which is also why I want a Portal 3. I hope Valve doesn't take the franchise down. To me, it's their best one yet.

Characters change and I guess we have to accept that. DMC is a horrifying example, fans went rabid even years before the reboot came out I used see clubs and hate threads about Dante's new look. It was a massacre. "Old Dante Club" "We Hate New Dante" and what not. Now I know Lara Croft is going to fall in the same pit as Dante did. I actually think the Tomb Raider reboot will improve the franchise as a whole. Wow, that's interesting... and really confusing. I was confused at one part of the game where Link had to enter a gate where it takes him to the past, there he meets Zelda and well, that's spoilers for you. If it's the earliest chronological Zelda game (before even this 3 time thing started) then why and how did Link travel time? I just entered this large gate where it takes me back in time with no explanation as to why and how I have to visit the past (maybe it'll be explained later on).

I've played DMC on the PS2 when I was younger, it's okay I guess. Didn't know the TombRaider fans would go so far. Gross. Most of the TF2 fandom is lousy to me, I'm a part of it however. This timeline in Zelda sounds bizarre and it looks like Nintendo is just trying to make things sound complex. Why can't they just say they have many styles of re-telling a story rather than "he travels time and this happens before that"? If Link travels time then why is Zelda so different every game? Is there some explanation of these "Zeldas"? I think I like to see the games a new way of telling a story rather than trying to link (no pun intended) all these games to occur canonically. What about Toon Link though, is a he a younger Link? If he is then why is the one in Skyward Sword older if it even happened before Ocarina? Gosh this is so confusing, nothing makes sense.

I wonder if RE6 is really as good as it sounds. I've heard two sides of an opinion on it, one saying it was horrible plot-wise, and messy gameplay-wise. The other saying (or showing, rather, through video) that it's good for a ton of laughs between friends alike.

The plot had been summed up by a friend as being rather lame, not due to how it refrains from being "horrifying" as it used to be, but rather because of how absurd it apparently is. But, I'm not going to ruin your experience, it's the last idea I had in mind.

Not sure if you're able to view youtube videos now, but you might be aware that I've started a playthrough with commentary, on Half-Life. Thus far, it feels like a failed success (meaning, my commentary is awful, that of which I hope to improve upon). It's a whole ton of fun trying to record, I must admit, I just wish I could think of better words and sentences to use, other than the typical kind requests that all the enemies on the screen perish. In my opinion, 1 is indeed scary, especially when in the OW locker room, where the locker with cat is empty. Them suddenly a body is falling and i screamed. 4, Well, there maybe no darkness but a hot girl turned into ghost that freaks the sheet out of me is pretty scary. Origins, uhh... I think its okay, but i really like the music. SM is pretty bad, i'm sick of naked people who always giving me a "hug", and they're only appear in OW. But the music is cool and the songs is awesome.
