I wasn't in the mood to talk before, but now I am. It's not called trolling. I'm just seeing other people's rage for inspiration to my dark fanfic (in fact, my fanfic is about to become so dark, Lord of the Flies will look like William Golding's Happy Fun Time with Jack & Ralph). Imagine if the writer of Sonic High needed opinions to inspire her (tell me if it's a dude) fanfic and you blocked her for like writing too many polls or saying her opinions so she can get other's opinions. They are hackers. They were able to get Bullet's XAT password so they hacked his account, that is a form of hacking.

I am aware of SFW's condition, though I am not aware of the problems themselves. It's obvious a website like that will have nutty users, I understand. And obviously, you have been having a hard time with that for a very long time, I understand that as well. I was not blaming for not being active here, rather just stated it because I feel that I have more presence here. The wiki is not dead, there have been a few vandals, some trolls had to be blocked, I have to fix up something here everyday. You can spend time on SFW all you want, it's your choice, I never blamed you for not coming here what I did blame you was your furious message, like you were giving me some huge threat that I will perish my adminship if I keep coming up with rules, honestly you should not do that to anyone. I never stated any of my rules to be passed unless a good amount of users join in the discussion. And since most of your time is on SFW and most of my time is SNN I suggest you just don't rush me and boldly threaten my adminship, like I am murdering it, because I am not. And so far you are the only one who rushes me furiously, the rest seem to calm with what I do around here. And you are not the only one who is stressed because of SFW, I am stressed because of SNN. I have been having quite huge problems here, there is a certain user who is totally bugging me, it's been weeks now and everyday I read threats from hackers. I just do not feel I am fit enough to protect this site, I am really worried and really stressed. The Joke Master Edit

This guy is creating pages about doors and hallways, and insists that we need such pages. He's also threatening to report us so that we'll be "blocked globally" because we're marking these pages for deletion, and has purposelly covered up unresolved issues on a talk page, which I think is against the rules, isn't it?

Reactivating ChatEdit

Hello Kagi, I was wondering if you could reactivate the chat feature, as things seem to have calmed down. We cab assign more mods, etc. And see how things go. Indeed you are Kagi. I have justification for my reasons. Stubs are pages that lack vital information and direly need to be expanded. The page Franc claims are stubs, do not fit those classifications. Therefore, they are not stubs. granted, they can be expanded, but they are not stubs. Here's a comparison: Sonic's page itself does not have every single fact about it on the page. Does that make it a stub? No. It makes it a oage that leaves room for expansion. I'd like to report 2 unfair kickbans. One on me and one on a new user. The new user was spamming on the chat but he was clearly a 5 or 6 year old judging by his icon. FreeSmudger kicbanned him. Then when i told him that he was just a kid, he and a few other users felt guilty. I told him he should be a bit more careful. THen Franc came and outright attacked me. He said that FreeSmudger did it according to Wiki Rules. Then he told me i was insulting people on the chat. Finally, he told me i was being abnoxious. Additionally, WkMeds was making unnecessary comments siding with Francisco and i asked Wk to stop and that his comments were unnecessary and not helping or hurting the situation. Francisco further criticized me about this. I told him he was being a jerk and i left. As a result, he kickbanned me for a week and i believe that both of these kickbans were unmoral, unjustified, and outright based on negative emotions instead of facts facts.



Actually, you are wrong. You asked me why I have "issues" today, which is insulting, and other users such as Wkmeads thought so as well, you also called Wk obnoxious and told him to be quiet, and flamed him so that he was scared to talk. "Be quiet, wk, your comments are unnecessary." It's a chat, Jake, as long as its not insults of spam, they can talk. I see. Well, I've kinda just lost... that kind of passion for the wiki. Despite still being an avid Sonic fan, I just felt that this wiki wasn't going a direction that I felt that I could influence with confidence, part of it was the discouraging activity and attitudes of some of the users, at my time. However, I've seen the wiki getting more publicity. I've seen the place recently referenced in several videos, fan sites and whatnot. SFW roleplays and things Edit

We'd have to do it on a case by case basis. On this wiki, SNN, you go to Special:Export and write down the names of all pages you want to export (one per line) into the text box. It's a bit fiddly because you have to do that with every single comment separately. Then you export into a file on your hard drive. Then you go to Special:Import on SFW (which is only accessible to SFW admins) and select the file on your hard drive and there you go, it should import all of the pages onto the new wiki.

Hey Kag, there's... interesting things occuring on one of the blogs on the Sound Test Wiki. You should be able to see for yourself in the recent changes. Grandparent Category Edit

I'll show you the exact same message I provided to Casvic:

A grandparent category is a category of a category. If you click the hyperlink of a category, say Category:Speed Type Characters, you will notice that the category page has a category as well, which is its grandparent category. Keep clicking these hyperlinks and you will notice that each category is categorized with another category, which are their grandparent categories. If a category has a grandparent category that is not in an article, then it shouldn't be added in the article since it already co-exist within a category that is already in the article. Confusing, I know.

Anyways, if you were to click the hyperlink of a category that is located on Amy's page, such as Category:Speed Type Characters, you will notice that this category's grandparent category is Category:Characters by ability type. Click this category, and you will see that this category's grandparent category is Category:Playable characters, which should not be added to Amy's page because it is already co-existing within her page in Category:Speed Type Characters. Click Category:Playable characters, and you will notice that its grandparent category is Category:Game Characters, which also should not be added to Amy's page because it too is a grandparent category that already co-exist in the article through Category:Speed Type Characters. Mismatched image thumbnails; old revision needs deleted and image moved to force cache purge Edit

I had just recaptured, cleaned up, and uploaded a new version of File:DefaultCAWSXL55.jpg, and due to mismatched thumbnails, the cache won't display the new version. To force a cache purge, the old version should be removed, and, if need be, the image moved to a new filename.

Though, looking at some images, I wonder... What is your image policy? Do official images require a source and license and to be formatted within a specific template? An image policy was not included within the welcome message on my talk page, and I have another Sonic Underground screen capture that I would like to upload for use with Sonia's article, however I am not familiar with your image policy. Okay, I suppose I should give you a proper response.

  1. Everyone can use chat. Some people choose not to, although I think in some cases that this is because they are so adamant against using the new skin that they refuse to even switch over to the new skin for the few seconds it would take to open chat before switching back. (I've tried this, I know it works.)
  2. The direction the wiki as been going in has been decided by users. I may have been vocal in my support, but I'm far from the only person who thinks that it's an improvement. Sonic fans have thousands of other outlets for talking and sharing whatever, but there are only two big sites on the internet trying to rigorously document everything about the series, and we're one of them. That should be the focus, and the core editors agree.
  3. It is not about appearing more professional, it is about being more professional. Nor is it about attracting more users, because as you said we have plenty of those. It's about being respected more widely as an authoritative source, and we're so much better than we were.

Lastly, I can't predict where the site will go in the future. It will probably "tighten up" until the consensus (particularly among the core editors and those who participate on site discussions) starts tipping back in the other direction and balances out. My views on this are more or less diametrically opposed to yours, and I don't think either of us is going to come around to the other's point of view. In brief, I think that SNN's consensus requirement is appropriate and SFW's is too restrictive.
