Thanks. I read that Big would be in on the MarioWiki. I have some experience, as I signed up to the Narutopedia March 12th. Well, I can't really think of anything specific right now. Also, I greatly appreciate the offer, but I would prefer to know how to do it myself. Like I said, thank you for offering to do it for me, but If I want to change it, I want to be able to do it myself, without having to ask every time. Could you just tell me how to do it? The only way to change your username, is to create a new account.
You can change what your signature says, and it's colors, by using the hex triplet. Just type *Ignoring the <nowiki> coding.*<font color#Colorcode>[[What page article you want it to lead to|What you want it to say]]</font>, and place it in your preferences, and select custom signature. Yes, could you please explain it for someone who has minimal knowledge in computers, codes, etc. I know I probably should get it, but I just don't. Gosh ending a conversation takes a lot longer than it used to. The game doesn't have to address it anything can. I didn't say the game had to prove it wrong. That and you never answered the question. This is going to sound really random, but I was watching this while waiting for a response. If you pause the Sonic Unleashed E3 trailer at exactly 2:09 you can see in the top right picture what looks like Sonic ramming into Mario or a dummy resembling Mario (after hitting it it then explodes).--Ultimate silver fan 15:55, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

While there certainly are a lot of images in the galleries, that's no excuse to make sub-pages. People may not be able to find their way to them in order to get details and their appearances. I really need to work on the lack of admins here. I need to pick at least two new admins and one bureacrat. The latter most definitely to keep an eye on LB. Well it looks great. And if it works on the sandbox, I don't see why it shouldn't work altogether. The only thing I'd change is the two Super Sonics. I'd edit the image to have Super Sonic facing the other way then upload it as an entirely different image. Then you could have Super Sonic facing in both directions so both are looking towards the centre. I'm logging off now. your character has electric powers, right?! i have a character named Shock the Porcupine. i accidentaly copied off of Sonic, but Shock is about the same speed as Knux. after i made him, by friend completely copied off of Amy. he made a character named Harrella the Hedgehog/Butterfly. and to make them more alike, he made her love Shock! i dont know how to put the info boxes in also. i think you have to save the picture somehow and then upload it. but if you want to to stuff to it, then you would have to save it to your documents, take it to that Paint program thing, then change it and upload it. but if you draw a pic on paint, then all you have to do is go save as. then give it a name and save it in your documents. go to your profile and click 'Edit this Page'. click on the second to last button where it has your automatic signature, where it says 'Upload Image'. then you click on browse, and find your pic and open it. then click upload, do the other stuff it tells you to do, click on Upload this File, then go back to editing and save. does it help?----Sunny the Hedgehog DONT TALK TO ME! 21:17, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

your name sounds good for him, i think i have Shock's personality. he is generous and caring, but also cautious around people because he is kind of a scaredy cat. well, he is getting stonger, so he isnt that interested in speed. he always fights with his cousin. despite his name being Shock, he dosent have much electrical quality. he is a little more poisonous. if you touch his spines, you will be poisoned a bit. You serve some excellent points about Shelly, and Akamia there. There's a few really complicated things that I really haven't seen them put work on, but then again, they're better than I was, when I first became an admin. I dunno. I'll talk about it with the others.
As for testing this thing out, no big deal now. It appears that it only works if you're an admin. Still, we should check when we get the chance. And I can un-block anyone should it work. If they're blocked for 24 hours, I can just undo it. SLJCOAAATR 1 21:20, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
There's more to being an admin than having a blog, and posting on the forums. You have to e able to handel the entire site, deletions, vandals, spam, bans, writing a full fledged article (See: E-123 Omega, and Silver the Hedgehog (Archie), which imo are our two best articles.), images, rules, merges, templates, and many other things. They could be useful in due time. We have a lot of other matters on the Wiki to get to, before we start working on more fanon-esque articles. We seriously need to vamp up all of the character, and game articles. After that, a bit of work for the comics, and shows. Then, we can go on about with shipping articles. I just feel that having them now, would only distract users from doing what actually needs to be done. I'm not one to talk, due to how little I've done in recent months, but I feel all the users here already spend far too much time with fanon, and forums. Really? I think it's horrid. If people could just shape all articles out like E-123 Omega, I'd have no problems, whatsoever. And giving proof to everything is what being a Wiki is all about. If we can't actually prove what we're saying, then we get a big ol' FAIL. If you look at the majority of the fanbase that isn't from here, they seem to agree with me. Alot of work is needed. Just because the people here like it, doesn't mean it's not trivial. It's really irrelevant, and just about all shipping is just based on one, or two subtle hints in passing in one, or two of the many continuities, and a load of fan spectulation, with very little to actually be given as proof. As I said, once we get the better stuff sorted out, then shipping is just fine. But all the fanon, and shipping ramblings that go on here is driving alot of people away from us. I feel allowing people to have fanon here is pretty much completely distracting them from what really matters; Making this a reliable encyclopedia Sonic source. Not a place to make friends. Not a place to make fan-characters, or write fan-fictions. We have the Sonic Fanon Wiki for that. I don't mind it here, but as I said, it's distracting everyone. 1) When I changed the site rules a while back. I though it'd help to get things more intact. It did so in some matters, while it made others worse. Sometimes I think that he was right, and the Wiki should've just been left along, after he, and Nav retired.
2) Nope, sorry. You won't be on the FA poll this month. When I get around to changing it, it'll be Morff, me, FFF, Mystic, and Launch, withan interview from Shelly. Just give me a few more days.
3) Don't like her??!! Whoa now. She's among the Top 10 users on SNN, I'd say. Sure, we started out on the wrong foot, when we first met, but she's really changed, and become much better. I'd like to think that we're pas that, and would like to consider her a friend. As for the adminship; I feel that you, Akamia, Shelly, and Launch all need some more experience, each in your own areas. I'd like to help the four of you out, once I finish some of my current projects, that have been keeping me busy. After that, you guys become admins, and I say we're good, admin-wise until some more people bail out (IE: Molten, Ferral, Nav, Myself, Sacre, and me.). Mystic, and Morff are still here. If you paid attention, you'd notice that Jezz had lived 5000+ years prior to the events of the Sonic series. Jezz was once a warrior for the Knuckles tribe after a warrior from that tribe found him as a baby in an abandoned hut. The warrior raised him as his own child, knowing that Jezz needed somebody to care for him. Jezz was eventually noticed of his color changing (he was in his Perfect form the entire time, so he changed color every day back then, now he does it every half minute when he transforms into Perfect Jezz) When Jezz was 13, he grew pacifistic, and so abandoned his warrior ways. He created the Chaos Emeralds, their master, and Chaos (the creature, all of this is what brought him down into his current form [the permanent super form]). He then left the time to go to a peaceful one. Not very good at Chaos Control at the time, Jezz was trapped in an inter-universal hub. The rest of that story is here. Every fan-game that Jezz appears in takes place after these events. Just thought I'd summarize a bit for you. I see. I draw on the computer, so that's why it's clear. So I first draw on Manga Studio E.X. 3 (preferably E.X. 4 or Paint Tool SAI or Adobe Illustrator, but I have not the first two, and the last one is too hard to; figure out), I first use one layer and then make a quick sketch of how you want the character to look like, then open up another layer, make it black, turn the previous later into a lighter shade of color that you can still see, then start outlining the sketch with a thicker pen. Also, erase the sketch after you've got all of the outlining done. After I've done that, I close Studio and open up Adobe Photoshop CS4. I then fill in all the area with the desired color with the paint bucket tool, then add whatever effects I wish to add. The Adventure-sh style is too hard to explain.~~Tawny the Rabbit LET'S DO IT TO IT!

okay here are the stages i came up with:

1.Disturbia:A small portion of the island where the city never sleeps. The lights are always on and everones always is awake. It is only night here and there is said to be a haunted casino leading to a haunted Manor. The city is for people who live a party life

Sea Village:The village is a mini peninsula. The friendly villagers host batlles in there Coliseum. This place is for any warrior but be sure to expect fierce competition

She has appeared in an earlier issue of Sonic the Comic - Online (I forget which ones), but never in any issues of Sonic the Comic itself. I made a decision when I started editing the STC pages that I was not going to add any information here about material that only appeared in the Online comic (which is essentially fanfiction, even if it does have the support of the original STC creators). I wuld prefer, if we mention it at all, that the STC-O Rouge merely have a short mention in the main Rouge the Bat article, with a link to her page at the dedicated STC Wiki (w:c:stc:Sonic the Comic Wiki), although I notice she doesn't have a page there yet either. So... does that answer your question?

Oh, yeah, you also asked about navigating the site. Go to the main STC-O page, and you should see a link on the right to the "Back Issues Zone" (you can also get there from the drop down menu in the issue itself). This will give a gallery of the STC-O covers, which each link to their respective issues. However, these are all new fan-made comics, and none of the links go to the original STC comics.

Also, I notice that still none of the other admins have commented on your request to become an admin yourself. Well I've been watching, and I'm now totally convinced you'd make a good one, but I don't want to act unilaterally. Just because I don't add STC-O info doesn't mean other people can't, and at the moment I'm more concerned with adding the information that we don't have than removing any of the info we do have (although I will get to that eventually).
When did SLJ say that you needed more experience, because you've been doing a lot of editing just in the last couple of weeks. Quite a lot more than SLJ, in fact. And it's good work. As for Akamia and Shelly, I'll first point out that neither of them is currently nominated (Akamia actually removed his own nomination some time ago). Also, they work far more in the forums and userspace than in the main article space, which is where we need more admins working. Adminship = sysop. You are almost guaranteed not to get bureaucrat rights, and rollback rights are controversial at best. As for reverting more than one edit at a time, you don't need admin rights to do that, you just need to learn how to use the 'History' tab at the top of the page. Go into the tab, select the two versions of the page you'd like to compare, click the button 'Compare selected versions' to make sure that these are the changes you want to revert, then you should see a link that says (undo) at the very top right (just next to where it says 'Current revision as of ...'). Click that link, and once again it will check to make sure that you want to make those changes. Save the page as normal. Done. You may have found out for yourself since I disappeared for the week, however: Bureaucracy isn't so much out of your reach as it is a long way away. I don't have bureacrat rights yet, but maybe I'll get them at some point. And when I said admin=sysop, I was perhaps being facetious - my apologies. What I meant by that is that the term 'admin' is for anyone with more rights/powers than regular users, but it doesn't have a rigorous definition. The usual level is 'sysop', which allows users to block other users, as well as protect and delete pages. I'm afraid Javascript is an alien language to me, but in any case I don't think it is particularly necessary since we never archive pages anyway. If you want to start archiving pages, I would suggest the first step would be to create a subpage (e.g. User talk:Kagimizu/Archive) then just cut and paste old discussions into it. TemplatesEdit

Templates, right! First of all, what sort of template do you want? There are many kinds, but the main ones you'll probably be interested in are banners (horizontal, at the top of a page), boxes (big and square at the bottom of a page) and infoboxes (down the right hand side). Also depends what the purpose of the template will be, but as a general piece of advice i would suggest copying the source text for a template that it similar, then just changing the bits that need changing. Then you would paste the new sourcecode into a new page with the Template: prefix (e.g. Template:New template) and save as usual. Setting aside my own personal feelings about our Featured User system (which are not generous) and the layout you've described (as layouts are not my area of expertise), I have no problems with you designing a template like this. I suggest you start with Template:Need Proof, since that is fairly simple and already has similar colours. Desaturating means to make a colour less bright, usually by adding grey or white or black. It's not the same as making a colour darker, but one may lead to the other. Launchballer has never figured out how to desaturate colours. -- Supermorff 18:12, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Tawny's Photoshop tutorial Edit

Here goes:

First, to get your basic tools up: Go to Window, and click on these: brush, character, clone source, info, Adjustment, mask, application bar, tools, and options. Now, to draw, use the brush tool on the tool bar. To change how the line is going to look, go to the Brush setting you called up previously. Go to Shape> Brush tip shape, and change the spacing to 0. Then click smoothing. Also, to make you line thick and straight, not thick in the middle, and thin at the ends, go to Brush>Shape Dynamics, and change the minimum diameter to 100. or, if you want the center to be thick, and the sides medium thick, change it to 55%. Make sure to do layers: one for a sketch, one for the final lineart, and one for each color.

Sketch: Start shapes. A circle for a head, an oval for males, two small oval for females, lines for legs and arms, and draw two lines, horizontal and vertical, across the face. That way it helps you remember where the character faces. Be sure to use a gray brush

Final Lineart: Draw over the previous layer. Create another layer, make the brush black. If it looks deform to you, start again. After you're done adding all the accessories and stuff, erase the previous layer.

Coloring: Each color needs a seperate layer. Change the brush to 'Darken', so that you can draw over the lineart.

Trivia Edit

Hello Zagimizu,

This is my first actually contacting someone but I thought it was very important. I'm talking about the trivia sections. Are you certain that the trivia sections in the majority of these articles are fine? I'm seeing too much fandom and speculation that it completely kills the idea behind trivia sections. Wikipedia states in their section about trivia editing that it is information not applicable in any other place but still relevant and informative to the subject in question. I don't believe comparisons, beliefs, and fan speculations are a part of it. It must be about information that leads to learning more about the subject and not just add tibits of what people think or believe or simply observe. I believe the trivia sections in most, if not all, of the articles with trivia sections have information not valuable to the article itself.

As you can tell, my favorite sections are trivia. It gives me an idea that's behind the character, just as the rest is a view of the front. When you read trivia, you are learning things that are not present. Such things as comparing one character and another and what the fandom thinks about one feature of a character is not really required to learn about the character in depth. It should remain as factual as the rest of the article is. That's the whole idea behind trivia.
