There are FOUR offensive images. It's not your job to strike hard with a banhammer. That's a good way of losing good editors. It is your job to preserve the integrity of this wiki. If that requires blocking users occasionally, then so be it, but I just saw User:Hedgehog Boy commit his first offence (which, as a page blanking, could quite easily have been accidental) and you blocked him INDEFINITELY. Really? You really can't see what's wrong with them? Okay, I'll break it down for you. You_fail.jpg is probably pretty self-explanatory. It's one huge insult: "You fail at internet". Admittedly, only the text is insulting, the actual picture is fine. Similary, File:Efg.png is an insult, identifying the blocked individual as an "Epic fail guy". Both of these claim that the person has failed. A block isn't a result of "failure", so the implication is that they have failed against you, the admin. The third image, File:Animatedsparta.gif, is the same, communicating in the image what the others communicate in words. The admin, who wields power supposedly for the good of the website, is kicking a woman sitting at a table. Amusing, perhaps, but again it amounts to nothing more than vainglorious posturing. You are, in effect, saying "Ha, I have more power than you". None of these images in any way suggest that the person has actually done anything wrong, or that you have any regrets about blocking them (which you should, because every block diminishes the wiki's resources), only that you have decided that you are large and they are small. -- Supermorff 21:33, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

The custom Monaco skin for the site. You should be able to see it, unless you use one of Wikia's standard skins (go to Preferences / Skin and then make sure you've checked the box marked 'Let admins override my skin choice'). But you will need to purge your cache in order to see it. How you do that depends on your browser - I use Internet Explorer, so I press Ctrl-refresh. -- Supermorff 10:41, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

Theoretically I think you can customse Monobook (which is the skin type used by Wikipedia), but that's not actively supported by Wikia any more and in any case I've only just figured out how to use Monaco and don't really want to learn a new set of code. Plus, I have a feeling that if I was to change over to custom Monobook I'd have to change the default skin on the wiki to that, which means it would change for absolutely everyone who is currently using the custom Monaco skin we've been using for ages.

I'm curious about your reasons for removing the delete tags from Sonic SNES and Sonic 6, two hacked games, when we have quite clear guidelines about the inclusion of fan material on this wiki. Your argument on Kagimizu's talk page that hacked games are not necessarily fanon is confusing since... well... hacked games are necessarily fanon. They were made by fans. They were not created, published, licensed, or even tacitly approved by Sega. I can't see how they are anything else. -- Supermorff 19:40, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

That argument also makes no sense. Since when does fan fiction not exist? Of course it exists. So do these hacked games. But neither are canonical, and both were created 100% by fans. Thus fanon. And thus outside the scope of our wiki as established. -- Supermorff 21:03, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

Kagimizu seems to think I should be able to convince you to get rid of your blocked template. Frankly, other than telling you that I would construe any use of this template as an act of vandalism and revoke your admin privileges (and possibly block you for a short while), I can't see what else I can do. Your intention with the template is undoubtedly malicious and unacceptable, regardless of how you phrase it.
