Jet's Fans Edit

Well. Myself123. I saw your question about the Jet's fans, and I think I can explain that, since you may have noticed my participation in that article. You see, the truth is that little is said about the name of these fans. However, the name Bashyo Fans originate from Concept Mobius and its profile on Jet. I admit that I had my doubs about that name, but Concept Mobius has always proven themselves to possess quite solid info that was virtually never wrong, However, when I seeked out that name, I found little to support it, so I never took that name seriously. However, over the years, I noticed the name Bashyo Fans here and there, some even by people who knew their Sonic (though I can't recall that now). So when that article was finally created, I decided that Concept Mobius was right about that, and since no other name for the fans with the same consistency had appeared, I gave it that name.

From the sound of things you have heard about it a few times as well. This is just a though, but if some kind of info keeps reappearing then couldn't that mean that info might be true? I know its a blockhead way of thinking, but it could work in a case such as this.

I mean, for example, there are virtually no source of info on the Skills in Sonic and the Black Knight on the internat or nearly anything to confirm that they even exist. Yet, there are a few pople who know and they can provide the correct information, so, just maybe, the ones that say they called Bashyo Fans might be right. I just presenting some thoughts here. By the way, I just found a web page where they have a translation of the japanese Sonic Riders site and it mentions Jet's fan as the name you suggested!

Well, it just happen that I found the japanese Sonic Riders webside, and on the Jet article, they mention the bansho-something (not good at japanese):

I did some translating on the page I found and think I have determined the name for Jet's fans, but I would like to hear your meaning about it. From the Japanese Sonic Riders site, I managed to copy the following text from Jet's level two attack:

バショウセンをヒツトさせ、ライバルを [missing letter]き[missing letter]なす

I then managed to make a crude translation of it...

"Is allowed to Hitsuto the Bashousen and form can rival"

From the way it sounds, and compared to the "professional" translate I gave, as well as your own theories, I would say it lools like Jet's fans is named "Bashōsen (バショウセン)", or perhaps the popular "Basho Fan" or "Bansho Fan" in english.

I was actually the one who told him this. Think about it. Saying what continuity they are in before Missing Image simply isn't right. According to our fan fiction policy:

Fan fiction, also known as fanon, is any character, story, location or information about Sonic that is not created, licensed or endorsed by Sega (i.e. created by fans). Fan fiction is not allowed to be included in any mainspace article on Sonic News Network. Instead, we recommend that fan fiction be added to pages at the Sonic Fanon Wiki.
