Merry Christmas, Supermorff. (Well if you are Christian)--58SlugDrones! 15:29, December 25, 2010 (UTC)

(So you aren't a Christian?)I'm a Muslim, how am I supposed to know about Christmas greetings?--58SlugDrones! 15:39, December 25, 2010 (UTC)

Right, thanks. Actually, yeah, Christ, Abraham and Adam are prophets in Islam. We love Jesus too and highly respect him but we do not love him as much as we love Muhammad (PBUH) (a muslim cannot say his name without PBUH). Do Christians think Christ is dead?--58SlugDrones! 15:48, December 25, 2010 (UTC)

I see, so are Christians divided into different types? Muslims believe that he is a human and just a prophet (not a son a God) and we think he didn't die. We think that when he was being crucified, an Angel came down to him and brought him up to Heaven to save him. So we believe that he is not dead and he will come in the Day of Judgement and he will save us. PBUH stands for Peace Be Upon Him, Muslims should say it and even write it, well, I do not know if it's a sin not saying it but it is pretty insulting when not said or written after his name.--58SlugDrones! 16:02, December 25, 2010 (UTC)

Muslims are divided into many, many types too. But the main ones are Sunni and Shia, first they were divided just because of political differences but now these fools have also made some religious differences. I hate this idea. I believe Islam should be one community and shouldn't have been divided in the first place especially in spiritual ways. The majority are Sunni. Though we are divided we just say we are Muslims instead of saying "Shia" or "Sunni" because we don't care that much.--58SlugDrones! 06:00, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

So out of curiosity, where did you disappear to for the past couple of days? Internet trouble? Had to put some extra time into a job? Some pet of yours destroy the roof of your residence? Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 18:46, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

I see. Well, it's good to see you again, even if you've only been gone for a couple of days :B I hope things are going well for you. Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 18:55, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

So far today has been much more quiet and civil than yesterday, especially at home. Been playing Fable and keeping an eye on things here after I had some breakfast. Outside of the Wiki I'm currently just sitting around home looking for things to do, but mood-wise I'm pretty calm if only a tab bit bored. One thing I'd like to try to do is get myself to play a couple of new games I got some time ago sometime during the day (Silent Hill 4 and Metal Gear Ghost Babel), instead of letting them sit around to collect dust. Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 19:08, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

I've read a little bit about the Sam & Max games, but I never really asked anyone I know who played them if they were any good besides their well-known humor. Are you talking about Sam & Max games that came out in the 90s or early 2000s? Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 19:16, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

I think I heard good things about the newer ones, but it's been a while since I read about 'em. Who knows, maybe they'll be up your alley? Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 19:29, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

I'm already running out of interesting things to talk about. One of these days my brain is gonna kill me, I swear. If you're gonna be busy then I won't keep you. However, if you wanna talk for a little bit longer... I'm 90% certain that you're a fan of Batman. If that's true, then would I be correct in assuming that you've read Batman: The Killing Joke? Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 19:39, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Several weeks ago I got the deluxe edition of the book. Since I kept hearing a lot of good things about it I finally decided to check my local stores to see if they had any copies they could order for me. Turns out they already had some in stock. I'll admit that it's pretty good myself, although the hype around it might be a bit much. What's your favorite Batman story? Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 19:45, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

I think so... I haven't read much of the bonus content yet. There's a fair amount of it though, such as introduction and afterward pages, a bonus story, and some concept art. The art for the main story has also been recolored to look more realistic and the paper of the book itself is of high quality. And no, I haven't read that one. In fact, I haven't read much Batman comics in general (I grew up with other Batman media such as movies and cartoon series), although from the looks of it Batman and a whole bunch of other DC Universe comics have gotten a reboot. The only reason why I'm not getting any Batman comics is because I feel I'm getting a big enough collection of comics with the Archie Sonic comics as it is. Had I plenty of more space and money to spare I'd have no problem getting myself an extra comic or two. Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 20:03, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Alright. If I can get some extra funds I'll be sure to stop by at the stores and see if I can order it. If I ever get to read it I'll let you know what I think of it. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Batman myself (my favorite comic book Super Hero is most likely Spiderman) but I'm willing to read some of the short serials if I ever get opportunities to do so (knowing me I'm just gonna stick with some of the games and movies for now). Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 20:14, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

If I can, then definitely. I can't wait to see it. A part of me is hoping that it'll turn out as good as the first 2 movies, and since this is apparently going to be the last one it'd be nice to see if making a good modern-day Batman film trilogy can be accomplished. I don't remember the exact date it's going to come out right now but I know its soon, but until then I'm gonna keep myself occupied with the Amazing Spiderman movie that came out a few days ago. Gonna see if I can go with one of my parents to the theatre to watch it. Lloyd the Cat"I hog that hedgehate!" 20:28, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Gotcha. I think I'm gonna go do some other things for a while but I'll still keep an eye around the Wiki, so I'll talk to you again another time. Thanks for the friendly conversation though, it was certainly interesting. Lloyd the Cat"I don't die. I just go on adventures." 20:42, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Image category ideas

Would it be okay to make categories with names like Category:3 fingers and Category:4 fingers under Category:Images?

I would like to use it to organize images in this database on the basis of whether or not it shows anthropomorphic animal characters with 3 fingers or 4 fingers per hand, as I have noticed that this varies in different images.

Like for example in File:391px-Sonicsallykiss.png Sonic's left hand clearly has 4 where Sally's right hand clearly has 3. Sally also has 3 in File:SegaWorldSydneySally.png In File:Sally PNG format.png and File:Sally-Goggles.png, Sally's left hand has 4 fingers. In File:Sonicaosth.png, Sonic's left hand has 3 fingers.

Or maybe besides categories, if we could look at various series' art styles and this could even be an article, identifying major differences in depictions of characters like this? +Yc 03:52, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe just a focus on changes within the same continuity? Like a change in the number of fingers in the same issue would be a notable artistic error compared to differences between western cartoon vs. Japanese anime, where there tends to be 4 v 5 digits based on cultural preferences/taboos. +Yc 19:49, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Archie Character Pages

Hello Supermorff!
We see your idea in the Sonic News Network, that the Archie comics character pages have an addition “(Archie)” and not an “(StH)”. In the earlier times and we, the admins of the German SonicWiki, had the idea to change the addition (StH) to (Archie) too.
With this new addition (Archie) there is an equality with the names between the many Sonic Wikias, but we don´t know what´s your reaction (maybe you and other admins has the attitude, that we stole the idea) will be, so we better ask and if you have something against it, just let us know. The admin of the german SonicWiki .

Mecha Sonic names

Hello Supermorff. I hvae noticed your edits and I have been wondering: Wouldn't it be more understandable and easier to grasp that you designate the Mecha Sonics to what game/media they appear in rather than the individual stages? Not trying to be a know it all, but just suggestingUltrasonic9000 (talk) 13:46, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Well, we could try something like on Sonic retro and include the bit part in the title and say "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 16-bit" and "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 8-bit", or Sonic 2 16-bit" and "Sonic 2 8-bit". Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 13:57, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Let is snow, let is now, let it snow

Preparing for Christmas, I got a JavaScript of a nice snowing effect from here which doesn't use any images at all. However I need to have this in a website source code than just wiki editting and even as an SNN admin I dunno if I have rights to do that. Instead of having it on the main webpage I'd like this JavaScript on Template:Snow for easy use in the future. Just wanna know if it's possible to have JavaScript templates on Wiki and need help setting this up right.--Mystic Monkey recommends a fire shield this night _ 20:34, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

Well, if you can simply fit it in the source code and capable of doing that, that be great. I can send you the JavaScript I have if you want. I will need an EMail for it though.--Mystic Monkey recommends a fire shield this night _ 21:43, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
Not exactly zero knowledge as I know where to put the html where the <body> script is in the source. I will look into it some more though.--Mystic Monkey recommends a fire shield this night _ 21:59, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

It is possible to make JavaScripts work on SNN! I made a new test page which is a lot like the page you have given me only ending with ".js" for JavaScript and I can make it snow on SNN! I am not exactly sure how of yet for all on SNN than just me. Either a "MediaWiki:Snow/common.js" page but dunno if this will cause conflicts with wiki's skin pages but it may make it snow everywhere. I am still looking into the possibility of just a template based JavaScript program but even Community Central looks stumped about it.--Mystic Monkey recommends a fire shield this night _ 23:35, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

I tested it with my test page, switch preferences, seems to work, just very slow. But my computer is getting on in it's years.--Mystic Monkey is a MonoBook wikian. _
When it gets to December, whenever prepped for Christmas or not, I'll make it snow on all SNN (both Oasis and MonoBook). I can find out if I can make it snow for everyone than just me and also have some feedback whenever to keep it for the Christmas skin or not (since it will snow all over SNN, not template restricted).
Speaking of Skins, do you have the URL that Oasis has for the SN background? I believe when you change the background picture on Oasis, it simply updates it's URL database. If I can have it I can use it on the MonoBook skin so that any background update made on the Oasis skin will automatically change the MonoBook background. At least in theory.--Mystic Monkey is a MonoBook wikian. _ 21:51, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed DLC

Hey Supermorff, I have come to you about one thing. I hope you know about the new racing game (Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed) and I have come to ask you favor. I'm horrible with coding and editing wikis, but I see you are good enough to become the featured user. Here's what I posted on the official SEGA forum for Sonic games.

Hey, some of you may not have seen the petition happening in the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed thread, but here's your chance to revive Nack the Weasel! First a link to the thread (Original Post has links to various Sega Characters possible to vote for, but read the rules first)? here. Here's? a link to Nack's petition. It was originally agreed that Sonic Characters wouldn't be allowed to get any votes, but Nack is being underadvertised and not shown enough to lower his small chances he has. Hurry, it ends December 1st, and if Nack doesn't have at least 1000 unique signatures, he won't make it. He will miss his chance to come back to modern games. Now go out and tell the Sonic community. Make him return!? This is all about getting characters as DLC. The game is finished, but he can be added in as DLC.

Please spread the word around here however you can as this ends December first, as Nack needs to return. Sumo Digital (developer of the game) is hosting this and will take into account any character that is getting more than 1000 votes before December 1st. This is his chance, help him please. I will look at other admins and tell them too.

Hey Morff, I was going through some older accounts on here, and I stumbled upon MrSmartyMax. I realized that 58 blocked him a while ago for sockpuppetry, but the ban was a bit overzealous, so you unblocked him, only for me to come in and reinstate the ban indefinitely. Looking at it today, I was actually very surprised that I banned such a constructive user for so long! Even if he did sockpuppet, that was too long of a punishment on my behalf. If I recall correctly, he was one of our most active editors, though I remember he had quite the habit of edit warring and reverting many edits. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, do you think it would be fine to unban him? (It was always clear that you felt he shouldn't have been blocked for too long anyways.) He was recently editing another wiki, so his account isn't entirely inactive. I just wanted another admin's approval before I unbanned him myself. Since you and 58 were the only admins involved at the time, and since 58 is inactive, I thought it best to consult with you before I do anything. Thanks!   ★EYCEST★R★    ★Contact★ 18:47, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

I think that when we're dealing with zones that have the same name as each other save for the word "Zone" at the end of it, that it would be an idea to simply merge them, for example Sky Chase Zone and Sky Chase. Hey, morff. I've been thinking of some things lately... which might be controversial - the removal of the Featured User section. Either that or to focus on that section less and focus more on the featured article and upcoming stuff. I've been wondering why we even keep these interviews so large and central on the homepage for years. Most of the visitors here come for the information we have, I think we should keep the admin information behind-the-scenes rather than openly showing it. We are also the only wiki that focuses on this Featured User interview more than anything else on that page. I say, replace that section or switch it with a featured article or a "facts" section.

I'd like to know your opinion before I make this open to all users. I'm afraid I'll sound like a crazy admin wanting to change everything in such a large-scale. I know it's an ongoing (annoying) habit of mines, just bear with me.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 18:29, January 28, 2013 (UTC)

We are? From what I've seen most wikis focus of the Featured Article we however leave it ignored. Not only that but the FU is large and central whereas the FA is a little section at the side. I'll be honest, all I notice from the homepage is pretty much the FU. I say, keep the FU where the FA is and create a subpage for the rest of the interview. On the other hand, we place the FA where the FU was thus giving it more attention. And we better feature something more than character articles. I was thinking of a schedule. Where... say... one week we vote for a character, then the other week it's a comic. Yeah, something like that. Thanks.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 03:39, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that's an issue. From what I have seen, most users are likely to get involved in polls. I suggest we make polls instead of a discussion talk page. I am aware this will make the options more limited but it would get people more involved - all they have to do is click one button just like how hundreds vote for the FU.

In order to decide what articles should be added to the poll, an admin who will be incharge (just like how Kagi is for the FU) can decide reasonable articles worth the attention.
Another suggestion would be the talkpage, where users make suggestions and we wind up the top 4 most suggested articles into one poll.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 10:03, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

RFUR vote

According to the advice:

Don't be biased. In your reasons for voting, do not state such things as because you are "best friends" with a nominee. Your vote will be removed if it is seen as being biased.

The reason Edsta provided for his vote was "I like being nice". How is that not a biased vote? So I could vote for an admin's demotion, say "I like being mean" in my vote, and still have it count? Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201321:06, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Okay then, I'll bring it up in the discussion. Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201321:10, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Well, we have set a standard on these comics articles, that is what I have been working on lately. If you want to format it so it looks like the other articles, please say so. If on the other hand that you think it would be better that we have to write the other articles like #134, bear in mind that we have hundreds of articles that looks different from #134 and follows the pattern from Mobius wiki. So, would it not be more practical that we just format #134 so it looks like the others comic articles rather than bending the 300+ comic articles so they look like #134? That is just my logicUltrasonic9000 (talk) 21:28, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Don't get me wrong. I totally understand your viewpoint... but I guessed that I thought it was just a factor we had come to accept here. I would love to implement your structure in the other articles, but fact is that if we were to do that and follow your ideals (not they are wrong), the way I see it we would have to tear down the entire system about the Archie articles, and rebuild. That my friend, will take an incredible amount of work, more than just one person can start, something I do not have the strength to do. Also, the way I see it, we are pretty much set in our ways about the articles. To change their wide wide structure would just provoke people into edit wars where we would revert and re-revert before be would come to an agrement. The only thing that would solve that is if all editors on SNN came together and come to an united agrement and work together to fix this.

I am not affraid of hard work, but wouldn't it be easier if we just looked pass the fact that we hog from Mobius wiki? They don't mind and we do try to improve their work. The people over there, however, always beats us to it with an better formulation than us. I'm just don't think we need to do so much work over something so trivia as where we got our info from, as long as we say where we got from.

When what do you suggest we do until we can get such a movement going? Just let the article lay there, incomplete and messed up, with the structures and infoboxes sat up to handle the information in the same manner as Mobius wiki. I'm sorry, but the I see it, you give the choices of either let the articles be as they are, or reconstruct them all to be like you system, which can cause inconsistensies between articles to emerge and people to disagree? I'm sorry, but I cannot do all that on my or start that on my own. And if you feel that way no matter what then I respect you, but I would not be able to do any edits on the archie article with good conscience, in fear I would mess up the articles. Therefore, for the sake of SNN, I cannot touch any of the archie articles, which is a shame since they need it.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 22:18, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

I mean inconsistence in comparison to the archie comic articles. When I say consistency, I mean that the all "comics" comic articles should have the same headlines in them (meaning Summary with the titles of the stories, Trivia ect.). The way I see you want to establish a consistency between the comic articles is setting up the highest headline that mentions the title of the story and then below have headliners with synopsis, characters, the staff ect.)

Now, already where I think it goes wrong with the infoboxes is that they already have sections that mention the writers, inkers ect. which would eliminate the need for the staff sections in the story symmaries. You want our own unique way and takes work; too much work for me to start alone,

Also, as you mention that we have a "format that has been quite well established on SNN", I looked over the articles for the different comics and I saw that there were no format, the were no consistency, there were NO direct agreement to who the comic articles should be established; nearly each comic article had its own layout, so I sought to create some consistency. And then you say that the layout that all the comic articles should have are the one presented in #134, which by the way, is only one comic out of hundreds with that layout that I have seen. So you see, my problem is that I want consistency in layout for the comics articles, but now that you say that the layout should be like the one in #134, leaves me with the task of reconstructing 300+ articles in its image; do you the illogic here? And implementing such radical changes will not bode well, before we spread the word that it is the new standard, espacially, now that SNN is content with implementing Mobius wiki's style. Short version; I cannot see the reason in changing 300+ articles that have a consistent pattern, for the sake of one article's pattern.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 23:11, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Okay fine. If the consistency of the archie comics articles is so wrong, why do you not go and alter them and the infoboxes right now, so we don't have to worry about these articles further degrading? If they are so wrong, then it is your responsibility to set up a consistency between these articles, so we can clear any doubt about how they should look. And while are at add it, why dont you then go and tell the other editors that they have to do these articles this way now, so we dont get an edit war. That is a lot of work to do!.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 23:29, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Won't it be kinda tedious listing all the characters that appear when they are mentioned in the synopsis. Also, the different trivias; can't they just be listed in a trivia section of their own, where we perhaps can list the story trivias under their separate sections. What I am saying is that squeezing all that info under each story section make them seem kinda messy.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 00:29, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I see we agree to disagree, for we clearly have different viewpoints at how these articles should be like and it seems neither of us is willing to budge. I have nothing against your ideal, but I can't with good conscience work on those articles before it has been made clear to everyone and that everyone agrees on your way should be the better way. If you can show me that everyone thinks your ideal is better, then I surrender.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 09:45, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

About the bot...I tried creating a bot account (I was going to request a flag afterwards), and after I clicked the "Create account" button, it came up with the usual confirmation email screen. When I checked my inbox for the confirmation email, it didn't appear. I tried again, but it didn't work. I used the same email I have for my regular account. Do you know any possible reason it didn't work? Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201322:11, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

I have also been moving categories manually, though to a lesser extent than Shadowunleashed13. Is it necessary to change Category:Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing to Category:Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing? THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 11:46, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

I've read through the article's talk page archive, and it looks as though you are against capitalising "Sega". Both subcategories of Category:Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing have the word capitalised, so it would be best to either capitalise the word in the parent category or make the word in both subcategories lower case. By the way, that last thing you mentioned was an accident made subconsciously when I manually moved the tracks category. THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 12:16, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Admin bot

So I got my bot (Unleashed Bot) flagged last night, and began work. It wasn't until my bot successfully deleted a category and edited a blog with a duplicate image that I realized my bot was an administrator. If it is possible, I would like my bot demoted, because I don't feel comfortable with administrator rights and because I shouldn't have admin rights in the first place. You're right. Apparently changing the size (or the color idk) shows these borders. They aren't very visible with the current color background, but if you look closely you'll notice the lines.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 13:42, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

You were right about the bakground looking 'dingier' (it looked like it just rain on the wiki imo) and there are these borders/lines on the background if you look closely (the Sonic heads). I want the color of the background to change because it doesn't go with the new theme actually.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 13:54, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Done and done. Read the forum. I like the infobox. Anyways, the colors:

  1. 061757 Background (dark blue)
  2. FFCC00 Links (Gold-yellow)
  3. 721410 (Buttons) (Red)
  4. 1E0557 (Header) (Purple)

You might be wondering about the purple, it's pretty hard to explain the reason why I'm going with this color. It appears blue, red or yellow don't look good on the header (to me) Since user profiles are blue and the red transparency combined make it appear purple (even when you're on this edit page) so the header being a deep purple compliments it. I can change it however it you don't like it.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 07:19, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

  1. 004AB8 Buttons (blue) (I;m pretty sure this is the only thing I changed)

Thumbnail frame? You mean the frame around the images, right? They just automatically change with the new theme.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 16:40, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Response to new infoboxes

Hello Supermorff. I write to report that there seems to be a little problem with the edits you have made to the infoboxes. Foremost, (properly for all the infoboxes you have edited) the pictures you set inside them have a limited range. If the pictures size exceeds a cetain size (I think around above 250px) the pictures will cross over the borders of the infobox (see for example Excalibur Sonic). Do you think you can fix that?

I also have a few suggestions, but it is up to you, If this is the new look for the infoxes on SNN, do you think you could apply them to the other major infoboxes/templates, such as the AttackInfoboxes, Groups, Item, Conjecture etc.? I mean, with the new look, their appearances cuts into the eyes.7

Also, for some of the templates, such as the Sonic Game Characters, the text becomes nearly invisible and almost impossible to see, and I have no idea of how to fix that. Do you think you can?

Just thought I should mention itUltrasonic9000 (talk) 09:18, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry to disturb you again, but I have perhaps discovered another issue with the infoboxes pictures. For the pictures in the infoboxes on articles such as Espio the Chameleon, Grounder (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog) and Charmy Bee, their outlines or something similar were hidden in the white background of the pictures, allowing them to perfectly mend in with the infobox. With the background for the pictures in the Character infoboxes transparent, however, it creates both an annoying and somewhat disfunctioning contrast to the background. Not sure 3what your oppinion about is, but just thought I should mention it.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 18:40, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Forum:Giving Our Featured Article Nominations Page More Attention has remained open for quite a long time, but no one has acted upon the results of the vote. Could you please enforce the results? Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201322:19, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

The link is fine, but it's not quite what we were voting for. I think users would want a separate section listing the current featured articles (and maybe the actual text of each nomination) and "Cast your vote..." linking to the nominations page at the end of the section. Would that be fine, or is there a problem that would prevent this? Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201319:28, February 14, 2013 (UTC)

Request for help

Hi Supermorff. I approved your request, so I'm here to help.

I skimmed that forum discussion you linked to, and at the moment, it seems like there hasn't been an agreement on what should appear on a new background. To minimize confusion, I'd prefer to keep my communication with one person - you, since you made the request. Once the community has agreed on what to display on the background, message me on my talk page, and I'll be happy to get started. JoePlay WikiaStaff2.png (talk) 20:07, February 18, 2013 (UTC)

OK, no worries. I just didn't want to do something that the rest of the community disagreed with. If you guys like that image of Sonic currently appearing on the background, ask SlugDrones to provide the link to the source of that image, which I'm hoping is transparent. :)
Next, choose a preferably transparent image of another character to be displayed on the right side of the background. Then I'll use those two images to make a new background. If both source images are transparent, the background color can be whatever you want. If that's the case, what color would you prefer? JoePlay WikiaStaff2.png (talk) 19:37, February 19, 2013 (UTC)

Shadowunleashed13's nomination

I see you've closed his adminship nomination, but isn't it four days too early? Shouldn't it have been closed on the 6th, which would be two weeks after he set it up? THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 11:26, March 2, 2013 (UTC)

Okay. I was planning to change my "neutral" vote to an opposing one, as it technically is an opposition. Are you going to re-open the nomination for four more days, or is it not worth it? THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 14:48, March 2, 2013 (UTC)

I noticed that you mentioned not to vote 'neutral' on the RfUR page. I believe the reason it has become accustomed to vote neutral is because of the last line of the first paragraph in the Resolution section. Should it be removed/edited? I do agree with what you said about it, but at the same time, I feel that voters should be allowed to express neutrality if that is clearly their opinion of a particular nomination. They may be able to point out faults, but can also express reasons as to why a nominee should be promoted. Just a thought.   ★EYCEST★R★    ★Contact★ 03:15, March 5, 2013 (UTC)

Ah, I see what you mean now. At least with this 'neutral voting' out of the process, the consensus in nominations will be that much clearer and obvious. I'll go ahead and edit that line of the Resolution section that I pointed out before to avoid future neutral votes. Though I'm sure if someone were to vote neutral again, they will be asked to restate their opinion in the Support or Oppose sections. The Discussion section should be purely for discussions anyways.   ★EYCEST★R★    ★Contact★ 15:03, March 6, 2013 (UTC)

I have seen that you remove several sprite pictures that are sent by me, featuring unused sprites from different games. Why can I have straight links to those pictures on article? I get your idea with this being a compromise. However, the custom of setting such links in the top and the "See Also" section  being reserved for related articles in its in-universe, is firmly inserted and reused custom on both SNN and many other articles. I just don't feel good leaving one compromise stand out from an order that has otherwise been established and accepeted. What I'm saying is that your way has to work, which in my oppinion is different from all the others cases in a similar situation, it was to be implemented on all articles.

I see. Well, I guess that's whre we are different. You're content with waiting, while I want it done right away. But I respect your viewpoint. I guess we just have to wait until one of us with settle with the other one's decision.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:19, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

So correct me if I got this wrong: if the title doesn't have a qualifier such as "Metal Sonic" or "Chaos Emeralds", the link has to be in the top. However, if the title has a qualifier, such as "Sonic the Hedgehog (character)" or "Knuckles the Echidna (Movie character)", the link has to be positioned under the "See Also" section?

If that is, can you correct me to an articlee where I can find all those rules? Thank you for your time anyway.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 18:03, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

So it all depends on how specific the title is?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 18:50, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

Why did you delete the Button Layout image? RiderJones (talk) 02:10, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Filenames that start with numbers

On Bubbler's Mother you deleted some concept art because the filenames started with numbers. Should the section be removed entirely or do you want to restore the files with a different name, or something else? ---~Flare | Talk Page 20:16, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

I don't know what to say...

Hello Supermorff. This is Ultrasonic9000. I... just want to talk to you about something.

I'm sure you're familiar with Necromancer540. And... well, while he has great ideas, he tends to leave much of his work only partially done (with a few unformatted lines and nothing ) and that really annoying for others who then have to clean up after him, but we can never bring us to erase his articles. At the same time, though, he has the right to write here and contribute, and I've tried to tell him his faults, but he hasn't answered, so... I dont know. What is the right apporach for such a situation?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 17:44, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

New upcoming release

Hello there Supermorff, how you doing there? I'm just asking if this new game can be added to this template. It has has source to prove it to be true and it has been announced at Nintendo Direct in May 17, 2013. - MarioSonic (talk) 15:27, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

EDIT: This game should be added there as well. - MarioSonic (talk) 15:46, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Well, you're having a busy day with these templates.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 11:53, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Wish I could help but I'm pretty busy with other things (I'll be procastinating longer if I get into the template job). I find it funny that the name of the section you edit appears on the Wiki Activity and I mistaken it for you typing a section headline everytime. One of them was "The fanfics are what I control." yes, I thought you wrote that. I'm chuckling to myself right now.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 12:01, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Recent Games

I know you're not much of a gamer anymore and you're more of a classic fan but do you play or take slight interest in any recent Sonic games? Being a classic fan myself, I'm finding recent Sonic games pretty good. They're still not as good as the classics though.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 07:41, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Sonic Unleashed is a chore. Sonic Colors is great to me, though I still have plenty of criticisms for that game. I however recommend Sonic Generations because some of the classic levels are alot of fun, don't expect anything mind-blowingly masterful though.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 07:50, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Really? I have Skyward Sword and I'm bonkers about that game, I think it might be the best 'modern' game I've ever played even though I haven't beaten it. Have you beaten Mario Galaxy? The game's a masterpiece.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 08:06, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

You have good taste. Have you collected all Green Star Rings in Mario Galaxy 2? I think it's one thing I'll never be able to do.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 08:09, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised to know someone who got all of those! Hey, have you played Portal?--SlugDrones • (Contact) 08:19, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

You're missing out on what I call the best gamer to ever exist. Not only gameplay wise but everything wise.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 08:23, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Tiebreaker needed

Hell Supermorff. This is Ultrasonic9000, and I am in need of your help as a tiebreaker.

You see, me and Ykl are having a small disagreement about whether a trait of Blaze's personality should be mentioned in her Personality section, and we are both standing by our decisions, unwilling to budge. I know we could have a poll or set up a disgussion on the forum. However, those things take time, so I hoped that I could take a shortcut and go to one of the professional wiki editors to settle this.

Basically, what we disagree over is that whether it deserves to be mentioned in Blaze's personality section that she is capable of giving good advice and being supportive. I believe that since Blaze was capable of giving advice and being for Silver in Sonic '06 (and possibly in others instances I'm though I can't recall now) demonstrates that Blaze is capable of being that way as a person, and as such deserves to be mentioned. However, Ykl believes that this behavior for Blaze only relate to Silver is because he is the only one that get this treatment, and as such does not deserve to be mentioned in the personality section (I may be wrong but that is how I understand it).

Basically, I hope that you could serve as the third party that could break our stalemate, since you clearly know your stuff. If you allow it would like to list my and Ykl's arguments on our talk pages below to help you understand the situation (order not included):

Ultrasonic9000's arguments

  • The reason I keep adding this is because Blaze is capable of acting that way, and as such it is part of her personality. The reason we is just not that common is because she hasn't been place in such situations as often as desired. I mean, I admit that Blaze only showed that side of her because she and silver had been together for a long time and thus she had time to grow attached to him, but that doesn't eliminate her cability to show the same degree of compasion for others; my point is that if Blaze is given the chance to be placed in that situation, then she presumably actthat way again. Besides there are many other instances on SNN where we have information a person's personality based on one instances in a game/comic. What makes that different.
  • My point is, in other words, that Blaze have the potential and ability to act in that way, and that will always be a part of her. We have just not seen that part of her very often. The keywords being that she has acted that way before, and she can do it again. 08:02, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
  • Excuse me but I am FAR from trying to ship anyone or speculate anything. If it is according to my earlier statement, then I just picked the wrong words, and I am sorry if you got the ideal I thought they were in love; all I was trying to say was that Blaze has a good relationship with Silver. Now regarding the advice part, I stand by the fact that Blaze is capable of being supportive and giving adviceas due to her personality. You blame me of being unprofessional, but I am exaclty trying to be professional in this instance. A personality is a complex thing, and as such, I try to be professional by including all variables Blaze has shown, and the fact is that she is capable of being supportive to her friends, of her own free will. It doesn't matter how many times this is done; the fact is that Blaze can be like that, if given the situation, is worth mentioning. Also, ifn you need another example on her supportive side, she supported the Sonics in generations. Look, I don't want us on bad terms, but I stand by this; Blaze can be like that, and there is no reason she cannot be like that towards others than Silver. She has been like that and as such it is a part of her personality, and in my dictionary, time and number of occurances above one does not matter. If she has been seen eing like that, then it derserves to be mentioned. 19:02, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
  • From what I can see from your message, you can agree to letting the part about Blaze being supportive be in the dscription, if it directs towards Silver specifically. Am I correct, cause it was under my impression that you did not want the section to mention Blaze suppotive side part at all. That quote you gave me (which I didn't write):
Also for her very close friends, like silver she gives them advice to sought them
Maybe that can work as a compromise between us?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 08:21, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
  • Then we have an agreement. 15:40, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
  • I dont understand. I added the line which we had come to agree on and still you remove it. Why?00:05, May 11, 2013 (UTC)
  • Well then, I stand by it adding it to personality section. Why can you just let it be there. Blaze has acted like this and has the potential to act like this, so it is a part of her personality. It fulfills every requirement for a personality trait. Is the number of times this has been seen really the only thing that keeps you from adding it?17:11, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Ykl's arguements

  • You know this won't fly with me. This is a wiki, not a place for speculation. I make sure everything is 100% to my best effort. If blaze doesn't act this way toward anyone except silver it shall be stated. As for your reason why she acts like this toward silver, that is also speculation which I will not allow into this wiki. Also I think you may have been trying to ship them but, I don't care as long as it the truth, and truth is blaze gives advice too silver and only silver (so far).  18:43, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
  • I don't want to be on bad term either and I didn't accuse you of being unprofessional.  I think I should clear this up with a little bit more detail.
"Also for her very close friends, like silver she gives them advice to sought them"
The reason why I wanted this to relate only to Silver is because he is the only one that get this treatment. Nobody else got advice talk from Blaze. She is cappable of giving advice but so far silver is the only one beause of his relationship with blaze. What type of realationship is it? We don't know, and we don't know how. I referencing to your comment about blaze knowing silver for a long time. All we know is that when she has a impression or relationship similar to Silver's she will give advice. What type of impression is needed to make blaze give advice? She did call silver naive but I didn't want to appear hostile toward silver so I simply removed that line.
This is my story. I understand what your saying and I don't reject what has been done.04:13, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
  • Yes, you're dead center on the idea. 15:38, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
  • We didn'e agree on this. it just an misunderstanding.
This is the quote I kept gettig rid of
"Also for her very close friends, like silver she gives them advice to sought them"
This is my response to you "The reason why I wanted this to relate only to Silver." When I meant "this" I meant the quote above. I didn't agree on the quote I agree on something you would create to replace the quote above. 16:49, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

I hope you will help in this delicate situation. However, you are also welcome to ignore this, and I will at least thank you for your time.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:19, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

True, however, though I wont defend myself, given Blaze's antisocial behavior, this might be worth mentioning, as it demonstrates a contract and an exception to her usual behaivor, demonstrating she isn't as distant as she is shown to be.

Nevertheless, thank you for saying your word in this, and I am grateful for your aid.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:31, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

I was a little worried about this problem, but I checked out maybe one or two pages to see if they had been properly merged, but looking at the differences between the Center of Time level page and the Time Eater page, not much would've been potentially merged from the preceding page. I apologize for these hasty actions, though I still have to wonder if some pages do actually require merging, evidenced by the Merge tags. Serious Sam Minigun icon Heavy

Chat edit restriction

Hi Supermorff. As you seem to be the most recently active administrator, would you mind fixing this edit of you're still around? All you need to do it remove the following lines from the page:

// Taken from Monchoman45's Chat Hacks
function toggleAway(msg) {

	if($('#ChatHeader .User').hasClass('away') == true) {

With the addition of ChatOptions recently, Bullet removed the old buttons but did not completely remove all of the associated code. Thanks! --Foodbandlt 09:06, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

New Page formatting

Hey~ How's my favorite user? Well anyways, I'd like to here your opinion on the new page formatting I'm doing. I've started off with Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity & Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity/Gallery. The changes I made include

  • Overview image for story mode
  • Game buttons for gameplay info
  • images for templates
  • Images for review publishers (review template)
  • The set of photos in the gallery for levels (The ones in the gallery page containing timers, gravity dive/control, cut-scenes and such)

I'm mainly doing this for representation ability and to help our reader with a more convenient page format, So I thought'd I'd ask you if you'd approve it. --Quack 10:21, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Well the large vertical image was only for convenience. I had to crop all the screenshots out and make a single one so a reader, while reading the plot can get his/her highlight on the game's scenario by just one picture. However I don't quite understand what you mean by separate images being kept next to one another. In my thought, it'd look like a mess since those are a bunch of images.

About the image needed. The main reason is that the template looked off when one column wasn't the same as the rest so I wanted to something of the same size. I could do a revamped version.. and did ^^

The SNN logo is there to let people know it's under this webiste.. and not stolen from Google Images.

And about the headings for the in-depth galleries. The problem is Screenshots is the main header and Menu Screenshots and In-game Screenshots are the sub-headers so I couldn't use a proper sub-sub-header, so I chose a bullet heading. However the main purpose was going in-depth with the game images. Like readers can have the whole game in-front of 'em. --Quack 10:47, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Aaaand looks like I forgot. I'll get to that now. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 14:04, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Right. I'll tale all your words but I still feel the vertically position of the story board is more convenient since there isn't much space in that section to add many single photos. I also have to add around 10 more photos for the babylon section so compiling them to one picture makes more sense. --Quack 15:45, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. Well word taken. i'll try. Appreciated. --Quack 16:55, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Names for articles

Good day Supermorff, Ultrasonic9000 here.

I have had a little discussion with Bluespeeder, which have made think about something. How far can we go in terms of coming up with names for articles on subjects that really doesn't have a name or should have a name.

You see, BlueSpeeder created the article Donut Dash for Vector's move in Knuckles' Chaotix. However, I have researched the game, and it never says anything that this move is called the Donut Dash. Instead, it is in every case called the Spin Dash, so I can only assume that Vector's Spin Dash unique appearance is only his way of performing it. I have tried to talk to BlueSpeeder about erasing it as we can't just make up terms, but BlueSpeeder insist that it is information meant to be preserved.

Because of all this, I have come to doubt myself where the border goes for us editors to make up names for article and what information they should present (meaning writing the same information for the spin dash under another name that doesn't exist). Can you tell me where the border goes?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 07:52, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I would like to take down the article because the name is not offical. However, now that you mention merging it because there is nothing to distinguish this from other instances of the Spin Dash, would that apply to other things such as the Burst Dash? And if so, when merging them with the Spin Dash article, should it belong under variant section, or should be written under the character's ability section as its only the appearence that differs?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 08:48, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Re: user rights management

Actually, so long as the chat is enabled, administrators and chat moderators have access to the users rights management. Admins are able to remove their own rights and demote chat moderators too. But chat mods can only demote themselves. Just to be sure, I double-checked on the Matrix Wiki where I'm only an admin and I had the option to demote myself because we have the chat enabled over there. If we were to disable the chat, admins and chat mods won't be able to view the users rights management. Only bureaucrats. Sorry for not making that clearer in the conclusion of Murph's demotion request. If you're an admin on another wiki with the chat enabled, you will be able to see this for yourself.   ★EYCEST★R★    ★Contact★ 17:56, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Infobox Comic: Need Help

Hello Supermorff, Ultrasonic9000 here.

I need some help decifering some meaning behind the Template:Infobox Comic, as me and BlueSpeeder is at odds with one another.

For the section in the "Infobox Comic" in the section "title", me and BlueSpeeder are at a disagreement about what should be written in that field. For the issues of the Sonic the Hedgehog (comic book) and its spin offs, I believe that in this field there should only be written the main title on the cover, which is "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Sonic Universe", "Sonic Special Magazine" etc while ignoring the minor subtitles scattered all around the cover such as issue number. However, Bluespeeder believes that in these fields that should written the issues title and number, for example for StH#251 it should say Sonic the Hedgehog #251 and for SU#52 it should be Sonic Universe #52 as it makes it easer for readers.

Can you help us in our disbute and tell us which of these styles is to be written in the title field? It would be very much appreciated.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:20, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your opinion. That was very much appreciated. However, I am afraid that it will do little good now. BlueSpeeder is no longer interested in talking or listening to me, and I dont blame him. We are both stubborn with very different ideals that are destined to clash because of their natures. If I were to approach him with this again, I am afraid he will get really mad. I just dont have the courage to bring it up again.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 09:13, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
Uhm, look, I did mean to bring that up to sound as a spoiled brat. I just wanted to talk to someone about it, because I have never been in such a situation, and since you are so professonal, I hoped you had a few nuggets of wisdom you give out to help me handle this situation. Still, I appreciate your gestureUltrasonic9000 (talk) 09:24, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
That seems fair. However, the problem is that this discussion occurred on the chat, There is no records of it.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 09:32, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
And by the way, I do want your help on resolving this. However, I want it to occur in a passive way, so it is fair for both sides. By including the opinion of a professional editor, I hope to get the tiebreaker needed to resolve this. At this point, I don't care who wins this argument, as long as it gets resolved.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 10:16, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
However, we shared some notes on Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 254's history section.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 10:32, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, my bad. It was StH#253, though I can see now that it is hardly worth something, as it is only two notes. Sorry for misleading you. My memory is not very good afterall. However, we did also have two similar notes that reflect the same issue on Archie Mega Man Issue 27. Maybe that would work.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 11:25, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
Well, he is always short when using them. Sorry, but besides the chatroom, that is all we have on our discussions. I am truly sorry for wasting your time.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 11:53, July 14, 2013 (UTC)

Level Cameos in History Section?

Hello Supermorff, Ultrasonic9000 here again. Sorry to bother you once again, but I need your expertise once more. You see, User:Vector T.C. have done an amazing job with Vector the Crocodile and has found many cameos for the crocodile in the game's acts. However, some of these cameos he has found are placed in his history section and I not feel like that such trivia fits there where you just try to summise his plain history and few game mechanics. However, I would rather not just erase such info, so I thought of placing it in the "Other Game Appearances and Cameos", but that section is usually reserved for games where characters makes a cameo or have "noncanon" history as opposed to games where they have "canon" history.

I therefore ask you what should be done about mentioning act cameos in history: should they remain as they are or be put in another section?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 10:51, July 15, 2013 (UTC)

Merging Pages

Aye, Morff. How we doin'?

So recently me and another admin, Speedy discussed about merging some page he was making. He is currently making 240 pages of Sonic and the Black Knight items a good example can be seen here : Donut.

So I don't think this wiki should 240 additional pages of very little information and few pages contain the same words just altered a bit. I suggested that these pages should be merged into a few more pages, such as Donut and Ham are in the Sonic and the Black Knight Food Items page where readers can easily read the little info about these items in one page which makes is convenient and or they are all compiled to one big and nicely formatted page. Th pages don't even need infoboxes, that just makes things redundant.

I mean, if all these items are to have their separate pages then so should the items here Sonic Food Products and so should other small things in games, which would make no sense because it is easier for viewers to get the info on one page since the items don't need much information.

I asked Speedy about this and he just told me he didn't want to. So therefore I ask you, what's your call? --Quack Like you mean it 10:45, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks anyway.Mystic Orb: Who do you think I am? What do you want? What do I do? 00:59, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

Right. Thanks for your opinion. --Quack Like you mean it 05:14, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

Edit-war in progress

I would like to alert you to this. As much as I would like to spend the rest of the day reverting unhelpful edits because of some strange edit-war, I need to get some sleep. I suggest a month-long vacation for the individual in question. Thank you. Trak Nar Ramble on 10:49, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

Go back and analyze the nomination a bit more. You can't just look at numbers or percentages here. It says on the Requests for User Rights page that "the opinions of long-standing users, particularly current administrators, will also tend to hold more weight than recently-joined or inexperienced users", which is what influenced me to not promote Mystic Orb at this time. A lot of newer users also partook in voting (which certainly isn't a bad thing), but I felt that considering every user (with the exception of Pacmansonic138) who voted against Mystic Orb was either an administrator or chat moderator themselves there wasn't an ample amount of support (when comparing it to the amount of opposition) for the nomination to result in a promotion. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 16:52, August 25, 2013 (UTC)

Ah. I suppose I could have touched on it a bit more than I did. I'll keep that in mind for future reference. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 22:49, August 25, 2013 (UTC)

Not my decision. SpyroSonic2000 and I were informed that it may be violating the terms of use. To ensure that it wasn't, I sent a support e-mail to Wikia Staff. They confirmed that it was indeed a breach in the Terms of Use. If I didn't do it, they would have. I don't have the full details. I was just told to terminate the code. I'd rather not be held responsible for something I had no choice in. You can make the announcement if you want, but that's territory I'm not getting into. You can revert my edit if you want, but there will be consequences. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 15:50, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

If you want to discuss this further, you can hop on chat. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 15:51, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

General Sonic News Network Survey

Hey Morff. I'd just like to kindly request that you take the time to quickly fill out a recent survey I created. The survey is completely anonymous and will help assess the community's opinion in a much more orderly and straightforward fashion. Thanks in advance. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 22:48, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

You weren't required to fill out every single question. Only the ones that pertained to your interests. I do admit that quite a few of the questions had limited options, however, I tried to include "Other" boxes where necessary. Speaking from past experiences, people are less inclined to give a specific answer (and often respond "I don't know") if they aren't presented with the answers, which is why I offered up a few default options for a few of the questions. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 19:34, September 6, 2013 (UTC)

Don't delete my photo plz from nathania1221

Well, I appreciate the initiative, and yes, I am rather upset with you. I apologize for not being forthright to begin with, but the responses you've been giving me on the forums have been rather provoking and unnecessarily discourteous. At first I thought it was just me, so I queried a few others to take a look at your responses, and sure enough they agreed with me. Although I could have handled the situation a bit better, I let my sensitivity get the better of me I suppose. For that I'd like to apologize (in the case that the feelings are mutual). --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 11:35, September 11, 2013 (UTC)

It's quite alright. I feel as if I came across as disrespectful as well, and for that I apologize again. Let's just put this whole fiasco behind us. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 19:47, September 11, 2013 (UTC)

Comic structure suggestion

Hello Supermorff, Ultrasonic9000 here. You may not remember, but we had a disguession long ago about the structure of the articles about the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, particulary about Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 134. I have thought about what you said, and you were right, your style is pretty good compared to the Mobius wiki's style, and we need a consistency, I was just being stubborn. I am willing to slowly start implementing your style on the archie comics. Though I took your opinion last time as being too proud of your work to allow any changes to it, I hope we can start over and work together to improve the comic pages. With your permission though, I would like to suggest just a small alteration to the comic article structure, which I have displayed on Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 134. Here, the stories in the comics and their content have been moved under the headline "Featured Stories" so we know where the stories are, and I just allowed myself to only include the main title of the story and removed the ' " '. If you have anyhting to say to my alterations, please let me know. Should you accept my idea though, I will be willing to implement it on the other comics, especially the "Sonic the Comics", before starting on the Archie comics.

Thank you for your time.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 10:56, September 20, 2013 (UTC)

Then I shall get to work.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 14:55, September 20, 2013 (UTC)
Hello again Supermorff. I still have work to do with the comics, but I ran into a little problem. For those sections featuring reprinted stories in the Sonic the Comic issues, what do you think a good move would be?; integrate them under featured stories and leave a Template:Main link under them to their respective comic (like on the Sonic Archives volumes), or leave the reprint stories sections as they are, but a little modified. I am asking you this because I seek consistency, which I hope could match up with the Archie TPBs issues.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 11:00, September 21, 2013 (UTC)
Well, I was thinking more like erasing the Level 2 heading 'Reprinted stories' and take the stories under it and set their names up like a level 3 heading under the level 2 heading 'Featured stories', and then place a Main link under them to their respective comic. Like this format on Sonic the Comic Issue 184. I figured that as long as the stories are presented, it was alright. Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 13:54, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for your opinion. Now I know for sure what to do. I'll think I'll go with the Level 2 'Reprinted Stories'.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 17:50, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
Hello Supermorff, Ultrasonic here again. I still plan on implemeting your design on comic articles, but I have a question about it. The heading "Continuity" that appears several times in Sonic the Comic articles is kinda ambiguous to me, and I have a hard time understanding it. I know it is not like the "Key Events" on Mobius En. but is it similar to it? Or perhaps you could explain it a little to me?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 16:20, October 9, 2013 (UTC)
I suppose, but I figure that you cannot judge whether an event will have a major influence later, so I guess that you have to wait a little to write an event in such sections in order to judge if it is major or not. Also, writing events that has a connection to the story, does that even includes those that occured just last issue?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 19:41, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

So what exactly happens when your userpage gets deleted? THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 12:35, October 19, 2013 (UTC)

Right. I was just curious because some time ago I added the template to my userpage to see what would happen when it got deleted, and then you removed it. THE REFLEX dancing on the valentine 14:41, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

Sally (SatAM) name

If Princess Sally (SatAM) s is to say true to the info revealed in SatAM, then shouldn't we remove the "Princess" part of her name as well? I mean, it is only her title and not her actual name.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 19:14, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

I think it is a good idea to settle this before changing the links.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:03, October 25, 2013 (UTC)
Point taken. But what keeps us from adding the title to the Archie Sally Acorn?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:36, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. Coming from you, it means a lot. And I hope to still learn more from you.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:51, October 25, 2013 (UTC)
Hello again Morff. I have a problem here. Because I moved King Maximillian Acorn to Maximillian Acorn (per inspiration from our latest discussion), User:MrSmartyMax has taken the same logic, having literraly been inspired by my action, and moved Princess Sally (SatAM) to Sally (SatAM) (and also Sir Charles Hedgehogs to Charles Hedgehogs, but that is not important). I feel guilty about this and I feel I should do something about it, but I am not sure I should do it. Was he right to do it despite what we had talked about, or is it a mistake that should be corrected, or could it simply be me being selfish because I wanted it that way? I dont know.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 14:07, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

Yo, Morff. This guy's wondering why his block was indefinite instead of limited. Says he wants to come back and make constructive contributions to the wiki. He wants you to clear things up and explain why you made the block indefinite (and unblock him, but I'll leave that up to you), so could you leave a message of clarification on his talk page? -- Shadowunleashed13 (talk) 20:38, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Well, he's the one who wanted the clarification, not me, but I'll give him the message. ;) -- Shadowunleashed13 (talk) 20:44, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Wanna be judge?

Sorry, I might be in trouble for comparing the debate on Link's page to a trial, but there is an expression "let me be the judge of that," right? Well anyway, the voting on the Link talk page has gone on longer than expected. I thought of a plan on when it is going to end. I need a neutral admin to close the votes, but a week from the last vote. Time Biter just voted yesterday, so in my plan, it closes on Halloween, which is next Thursday if no one else votes by then. If someone votes by then, the deadline would be pushed back a week after the vote, so if someone votes today, the deadline would be pushed to November 1st. If they vote on Tuesday, it would be pushed to Tuesday November 5. So basically, it would end on the following week after the last person's vote. Would you care to do the honors when it is time? Your neutral about this issue right? Well I hope you can keep an open mind and not vote while you have this responsibility. So if the "Keep" side has more votes, we would keep covering Super Smash Bros. If the "Delete" side wins, we would keep the pages for one more day with delete tags just so that people could have a last look at them, and then delete them the next day, ending with Link. I know that you might have decided off wiki that won't delete the game pages, but I think Sonic can only either be a main character or cameo. A supporting character is sometimes considered main, and the rules don't state anything about Sonic being a supporting character. So, I still think the games should go in the cameos page if we decide to delete the Brawl characters. Do we have a deal? SeanWheeler (talk) 22:39, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Change of plans. Bullet is going to delete the articles tomorrow, so if you want to vote, you can do it now. SeanWheeler (talk) 02:22, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

Erm, the vote has been up for weeks without end. It's gone on long enough. I've concluded that because of the majority vote and because more veteran users have voted in favor of deletion, the page should go. SeanWheeler, there is no need to stall the discussion any longer than you have. The pages have already been on the wiki long enough. I also don't appreciate that you've gone to multiple different places in an attempt to stall the discussion. We are not a Smash encyclopedia nor are we trying to be one. You may create a page listing all the Smash Bros. chracters, but they do not all need an individual page. --Bullet Francisco (talk) Contributions Editcount 03:34, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

A summary page for these characters seems like a reasonable compromise to me, but I have not been following the discussion very closely. -- Supermorff (talk) 09:24, October 26, 2013 (UTC)
I never saw a list of characters here. The characters who got two appearances with Sonic always got individual articles, not lists. SeanWheeler (talk) 14:21, October 26, 2013 (UTC)
Bullet suggested it, I merely repeated. -- Supermorff (talk) 15:40, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

I might suggest that maybe, I could have the pages in my userspace? Because, of all the users, I would miss these pages the most, and due to the two-week block, I hadn't had enough time to work on these pages. And I could have my pages just in case we change our minds later, like when Super Smash Bros. 4 comes out next year? That way, when we change our minds, we don't create a whole bunch of Nintendo articles from scratch. The characters that were announced before Sonic could be easily restored, but what about the rest? Could I use my userspace to work on these articles privately until we're ready to have them? SeanWheeler (talk) 16:18, October 26, 2013 (UTC)
There are no rules against it. -- Supermorff (talk) 16:37, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

Greetings from german SonicWiki!

Another admin from our wiki is very active in the topic "worlds collide" and asked me, if we could use your template. Of course, just with your permission.

Have a nice day! Michi (Talk) (Contributions) 14:56, December 29, 2013 (UTC)

Repetition: An error or a necessity?

Hello Supermorff, Ultrasonic9000 here. I was hoping that you might be able to help me with something.

Right now, I am working on writing a history section of the events that transpires in the stages of Sonic Unleashed. However, the stories are not strictly the same on each version of the game. So I figured I should make a section for each version. However, for some of the stages, the differences between each version is only a matter of a few lines (Pickle's camera is handed over to Sonic from Tails on the PS3, but in the PS2 it just appears; in the PS3 Sonic returns to chun-nan to clear out robots while in the PS2 he returns to investigate; in the PS3 Chun-nan's Treasure plays a key role while in the PS2 it is not mentioned at all; in the PS3 Pickle tells Sonic to check out Empire City, but in PS2 he does not mention it at all). So my question is:

Is it okay for me to add a different version of each storyline when the difference between them is only going to be a few lines? I don't want to needlessly repeat, but I don't want to leave info out either. Merging them is impossible due to conflicting key points and separating them makes them repetitive, so I hope you can see I am in a pickle, and I seriously need guidance in what to do. As an example of writing a history section for each version, see Spagonia and Apotos.

Thank you for your time.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:27, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for your advice.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:50, February 5, 2014 (UTC)
I have learned my lesson on that one. So no need to worry.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 21:57, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

Hello again Supermorff. I have seen the discussing you have had with User:SeanWheeler about adding total episode and comic lists to the template:Character and how SeanWheeler is implementing them. Since you have seemed to approve this, I would like to voice my opposition to this. Adding such long lists to the character template makes it way too long and incomprehensible, even with the scroll box. Such lists are not fitting for the character infobox, since it is just to summary the key elements about the character and make them short, sweet and quickly catch it. I know it is not always the case for some of the characters and game appearances, but that is only in the rare cases.

Trying to not only put both episode appearances and comic appearances to the character infobox is way too much information and is also too repetitive to be fitting for this template. For characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic X) this would not only give 78 episode points, which makes it a pain to seek through to find the exact episode on such small space, but it will will also added a repetitive comic list saying "Sonic X #[insert number]" over and over again forty times, and that cannot do since we are supposed to avoid repetitiveness in such cases. An even worse case could be Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie) with a comic list saying "Sonic the Hedgehog #[insert number]" 257+ times and that is way out of line - it can even get messy including all the spin-off.

To surmise my point, the template:character is not fitting to place such incompressible long and repetitive/messy lists. I agree it would be a good idea to list it, but not in the character template.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 20:28, March 8, 2014 (UTC)

You deleted it because it was fake. Look through your deleted pages archive.

What I'd like to know is, is it fair to block a user who hasn't edited yet or vandalized or done anything out of the way if you're 99% sure if the user is a sockpuppet who is only gonna cause trouble? -- Murphyshane - ! Don't click here 21:27, May 24, 2014 (UTC)

That sounds reasonable. However, I'll just go out and say this. One of our users is very worried at the moment that a certain sockpuppet will leak very personal information via blog. We could easily delete that blog and ban the user, but there'd be no guarantee that we'd be able to do all of that before anyone could see the information being posted. My friend is very worried about this and it would simply be cyberbullying for the sockpuppet to just post personal information. What's your opinion on the matter? -- Murphyshane - ! Hello Supermorff. I saw your comment on the thread and I don't quite understand what you are saying regarding the following highlighted points:

To be honest, I don't understand that the argument that a rebooted continuity is different from a separate continuity that shares some elements. Although I appreciate that some characters remain fairly similar, other characters have completely different histories in the two timelines. In at least one case (Muttski), the character's name and species is different. Why not just separate them?
The thing you're suggesting will make the main page look cool, but it will create other pages that aren't intended to be looked at. A lot of other pages. And they're still in the mainspace, so they'll show up on 'Random page' clicks and wherever'.
How about having two separate pages, identified by parentheses (as SeanWheeler suggests), but transcluding relevant sections from the pre-Genesis Wave page onto the post-Genesis Wave in a collapsible box? The most recent pages should get the 'Archie' tag, and the older pages the 'pre-Genesis Wave' tag. Would that work?

The main reason why I don't think it is good we split them into two articles is because there will be common information that does not differentiate between the two timelines. For example "Appearances in Other Media" and "Concept and Creation"- this is restricted to the character itself and has no affiliation between the two timelines. I have wrote other reasons in my thread. Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 12:49, September 13, 2014 (UTC)

Appearances in Other Media should not differentiate between versions. Regardless of how many changes, it is still the same character. For example Sally Acorn (Post-SGW) did have an incarnation in SatAM because she is the same character as her life in the Pre-SGW timeline. The same logic applies for Concept and Creation; it is the same character through and through and the reasons for creating that character is the same regardless of it is Post-or Pre-SGW - we cannot change that fact about them regardless of timelines because they are the same characters. Also, the thing about the Transclude-stuff is that such sections are gonna have headlines (Pre-SGW history sections will have smaller headlines) for each section. Adding such sections, but without open access to them will make it impossible for user to use the Contents list links to quickly jump to those sections. I am not sure how else I am gonna explain it, but I have added another comment on the thread.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 13:18, September 13, 2014 (UTC)

Free Tickets to Sonic Boom Event in NY / Community Giveaway

Hey there Supermorff!

My name is Doug and I'm a member of Wikia Community Development Team! I'm stopping by to inform you that we have exciting opportunity directly from Sega. We have 10 free tickets to give away to Sega's Sonic Boom event in New York! Sonic Boom is a fan-centered event that takes place on Saturday, October 4th. The event includes appearances by all of the major voice actors of the new Sonic Boom animated show, several Sonic musicians, and producer and lead Sonic designer Takashi Iizuka! There will be playable demos for Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (WiiU) and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal (Nintendo 3DS), and a bunch of giveaways. For more info on the event, check here:

We would love to orchestrate a community giveaway for these tickets. It's important to note that we cannot provide travel, so users will need to be located in the area or willing to travel on their own accord. We can set aside two tickets specially for admins if anyone in your adminbase would like to go! : >The other 8 can be raffled off in whatever way you a deem fit.

Since this event if happening soon, we need to have the attendees confirmed by next Friday, September 22nd, 2014. Please feel free to consult the rest of your adminbase about this, I've posted this exact message on the walls on admins BlueSpeeder, Sacorguy79, and Myself 123 to maximize visibility : >

As for the giveaway, crafting up a blog post and have users enter by leaving a comment would work well. We'll need to make sure users are aware that they need to travel to NY on their own. If any of you think up of a solid idea, please let me know and we can orchestrate it. I'm available to help craft the post, spread the word on other wikis, etc if needed.

Would love to hear back from you soon, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. Sorry for the wall of text, and thank you! : D TheBlueRogue @Wikia •(profile)•(talk)•( 22:21, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
