Vanish Panel 2 is located within a specialized area in Luminous Forest where the ruins form a maze-like path.
Vanish Panel 2 is played entirely from a 2.5D side-scrolling perspective. In terms of layout, this extra stage is a straight path with several twists and turns.
Much of Vanish Panel 2 is made up of panel-based yellow platforms, which the player is obligated to use. When the Avatar steps on these vanish panels, they will blink for about a second before vanishing. After a few seconds though, the vanish panels will restore themselves in their original position.
Throughout Vanish Panel 1 there will be times where the walls and floors will slide apart when the player gets close, thereby opening up for new paths. On most occasions though, spiked balls will come rolling out from these openings. Other openings may in some cases even close up behind the player to keep them trapped with the spiked balls. There are also obstacles like spikes, breakable Containers blocking the paths, and thorns that will inflict damage if the Avatar touches them.
When beginning this extra stage, follow the path on the right, up to some breakable Containers blocking a hole through a wall of unbreakable Containers. Smash through the breakable Containers, and the floor on the other side of the wall will move aside to reveal a downward path. Follow this path, and the Avatar will soon arrive at a wall that will open up, only for two spiked balls to come rolling out of it. Once the spiked balls have passed, go through this opening and follow the path until it drops the Avatar down on a bridge made of vanishing panels that sit above bottomless pits and spikes. To escape this pinch, go to the right on this bridge and climb up from there.
After getting up on solid ground, follow the path until the Avatar encounters another wall that will open up. Like before, two spiked balls will come out of the wall when it opens up. Once the danger has passed, go through the opening in the wall and follow the path. Eventually, after crossing a gap, the Avatar will get trapped between two container walls with vanish panels on the bottom while two spiked balls come rolling in from the right. Here, the player must avoid the spiked balls and get through the opening the spiked balls came through in order to reach the goal.
