The Veg-Heads is a group that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. They are a group of anthropomorphic vegetables from the Plowright Zone. They are led by King Edward, a potato. Other known types of Veg-Heads include onions, turnips, carrots, tomatoes, sweet corn, runner beans, and cabbages.

Although the Chemical Plant Zone was shut down following Doctor Robotnik's defeat, it was not properly cleaned up and toxic waste dripped into the river. The toxic waste seeped into Farmer Nige's soil in the Plowright Zone, causing his vegetables to mutate. These vegetables first grew to great size, then developed arms and legs out of their roots and started to walk. On King Edward's orders, they rose up and attempted to take control of the Plowright Zone, but were defeated by the combined forces of Sonic the Hedgehog and the local farmers. After this, Farmer Nige offered them a section of land as long as they agreed to live in peace.[1]
