Vince is a character that appears in Sonic Underground. He is a black-market salesman and secret dealer who buys items and selling them at higher prices to make profit. Vince is voiced by Garry Chalk, who is also Doctor Robotnik's voice actor.
While Sonic and Sonia were visiting the Professor at Mobius University for information about the location of Mobupinchu, Manic was planning to sell the orb he stole from Robotnik's auction for money to aid the Resistance. He privately met up with Vince, who purchased the orb for 2,000 Mobiums. While Vince was handling the orb, he curiously pushed a button on the top, initiating a 12-minute countdown and realizing the artifact was a bomb.
When Sonic and Sonia told Manic that the artifacts were really bombs, the hedgehogs approached Vince and tried to buy the orb back for the same price. Unfortunately, they were too late; Vince had already sold it to an art collector. Sonic asked him who bought the orb, but when he refused to tell them out of selfishness, a frustrated Sonic rapidly whirled him around, sending him crashing into a wall. Concerned at the possibility of being spun again, Vince revealed that he had sold the orb to a "pompous rich guy" whose name he vaguely remembered as "Boodlehead". Sonia knew he was referring to Bartleby. At this information, the hedgehogs immediately departed for Bartleby's mansion to reclaim the orb, much to the vexation of Vince, who was expecting money from them.
Seeking revenge, Vince paid a visit to Sleet and Dingo in hopes that he could make at least 1,000 Mobiums in return for snitching on the hedgehogs. Sleet promised Vince he would get everything that was coming to him, and thus Vince informed them that Bartleby had the orb and that Sonic, Sonia and Manic were on their way to his mansion to get it back. Sleet then reneged on the deal and had him dragged away by Swatbots and roboticized.
Vince is a miserly character who only cares about his own future and intends to make as much money as possible, even if it means allying himself with Doctor Robotnik. As such, he is willing to trade with any client he comes across.
