Wing Dingoes are characters that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are robotic flying dingoes and were the primary fighting force of Crocbot in Downunda.[1] Often operating in packs, Wing Dingoes were formidable opponents.

History[]

When Tails arrived in Downunda he was ambushed by a group of Wing Dingoes and rendered unconscious. However, the Downunda Freedom Fighters arrived in time and rescued Tails while badly damaging most of the Wing Dingoes, though one managed to capture Wombat Stu and bring him back to Crocbot.[1]

Wing Dingoes continued to be used in Downunda even after Crocbot's defeat. E-102 Gamma destroyed a Wing Dingo from the shadows while it was fighting Walt Wallabee.[2] The Wing Dingoes attacked Angel Island to retrieve the Master Emerald. They had overpowered Vector and Ray, but fled in terror when Ray made it look like he was turning Super with the Master Emerald. The Wing Dingoes then tracked down Knuckles and the Chaotix and Dr. Finitevus, but were defeated by the Downunda Freedom Fighters. They were soon defeated by Knuckles, the Chaotix and the Downunda Freedom Fighters.[3][4][5]
