Zeg is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is an anthropomorphic worm that lives in the Underzone.
Appearance[]
Zeg is an anthropomorphic worm with pink skin and black eyes. He has a humanoid body, yet a head and a tail like a regular worm, and wears yellow and green mining clothes. Zeg looks like all the other males in the Underzone. Unlike the others however, he does not wear a head-torch at all.
History[]
Going Underground[]
Breaking the taboo of his people which forbid anyone from leaving their secret Zone, Zeg ventured outside of the Underzone to the surface of Mobius, where he got harassed by three bullies for being different. Zeg was rescued by Sonic the Hedgehog, but he accidentally led Miles "Tails" Prower to his Zone. As Tails was not allowed to leave, Zeg took Tails on a tour of the Underzone until a gas pocket began leaking into the tunnels. Following Tails' orders though, Zeg evacuated the area while Tails cleared up the spill. Zeg then sealed up the gas leak while Tails was given his freedom as reward.[1]
Personality[]
Being a worm, Zeg seems to enjoyed Mouldcake and smiled encouragingly at Tails when the fox was offered some.[1]
